Villar to Las Piñas folk: Be proud of your heritage

SENATOR Cynthia Villar has enjoined Las Piñas City residents to take pride of their culinary talents and heritage.

Villar made the call as she addressed the 8th Las Piñas Food Festival held at Villar Sipag on C5 Extension.

“A food festival offers a good venue where we can showcase the best of Filipino food to the rest of the world.

Like you are doing here right now.

Like what I said, we need to be proud of our Filipino dishes and culinary skills in general,” the senator said.

Villar, chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture and Food, noted that food festivals were also good ven-
