With the latest round of increases, the Department of Energy (DOE) estimated that gasoline would sell from P79.04 to P97.84 per liter, diesel from P85.16 to P96.26 per liter, and kerosene from P89.72 to P99.12 per liter. COVID tally, serious cases going up By Willie Casas and Othel V. Campos COVID-19 cases have gone up by more than half in the last seven days, while the number of patients with serious conditions has also increased, the Department of Health (DOH) said Monday. From June 20 to 26, the country recorded 4,634 new COVID-19 cases or
an average of 662 per day, the DOH said in its latest bulletin. This was 53 percent higher than the 3,051 infections logged from June 13 to 19. Out of the latest weekly tally of infections, 14 were severe and critical. As of Sunday, a total of 591 or 10.7 percent of COVID-19 patients in hospitals were in severe and critical condition.

And if it is not avoided, bring a plastic bag so we can easily screen the contents of their belongings to be brought inside the area,” he said. De Leon said the PNP has not monitored any serious threat so far to the inauguration.

Duterte leaving as ‘most popular’ leader—survey OUTGOING President Rodrigo Duterte will step down from office as “the most popular president of the postEdsa 1 era,” according to the latest PUBLiCUS survey. In PUBLiCUS’ PAHAYAG Second Quarter survey conducted from June 16 to 22, some 75 percent of its 1,500 respondents approved or strongly approved of Duterte’s job performance during his six-year term. Only 10 percent of respondents said they disapproved or strongly disapproved of the President’s performance since 2016. As for trust ratings, 69 percent of respondents rated their trust in Duterte as high or very high while 11 percent said they put little or no trust in Duterte.
