The SWS poll, conducted via mobile phone from July 3 to 6, revealed that the highest proportion of those who feared that the worst was yet to come lived in Metro Manila at 70 percent, followed by those in the Visayas at 61 percent. THE Philippines' COVID-19 total cases increased to 269,407 on Tuesday after the Department of Health (DOH) announced 3,544 new infections, marking the eighth consecutive day in which more than 3,000 new cases were reported.
