Virus cases surpass 85,000 Palace says no reason to celebrate; Stricter measures loom in NCR

ALACAÑANG on Wednesday said there is no reason to celebrate as the country reported 1,874 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total infections to 85,486, which surpassed the University of the Philippines OCTA Research Group projection of 85,000 by July 31 with two days to spare.
