The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Friday declared the termination of the northeast monsoon season or “amihan” and warned that a weak but prolonged El Niño warm weather system will stay until at least August or as long as the first quarter of 2020. MANILA Water said Friday it is studying a government proposal that it not charge its customers in Metro Manila and Rizal province who have suffered service interruptions for more than two weeks now. FOREIGN terrorists are attempting to enter the country despite the strict security measures being implemented in the tri-boundary of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, the Armed Forces of the Philippines said Friday.
