School House Concert

FEATURE School House Concert

On Saturday 9th October, I went to see the School House concert in Big School. Having personally been a little down what with the gloomy autumnal weather, I can definitely say that the concert lifted my spirits!

Running order: Year 9 Dance - A very entertaining mixture of Kung Fu and sword fighting?! House Acapella - The Cup Song’ from the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’.

Midnight Game Show - A video compilation of some unlucky people getting woken up at midnight and getting asked questions such as ‘What’s seven times sixty?’ Year 10 Sketch - What would the gir ls would be doing if they weren’t in school house? Abi Perry - A beautiful rendition of Adele’s ‘Make you feel my love’. Speaking of Adele –who else is excited for her new album ‘30’?! Year 11 Video - The girls larked about all over Eastbourne College.

Polly Smith - Polly sang a soulful ‘Carry Me Home’ by Jorja Smith. Year 12 Dance - To a mash-up of ‘Grease Lighting’, ‘Forget You’ and ‘Hoedown Throwdown’, the Year 12s gave us a good laugh whilst displaying some impressive choreography. Lisa Shi - Lisa played the Waltz in A Minor by Chopin. Year 13 Video - The Year 13s danced around the school campus, tagging staff along too! Originals Video - Nostalgic as ever. House Song - Once I was Seven Years Old, but belted!
