A night of free drinks, food, entertainment, and giveaways, what could be better? Well, attending an open house is exactly that and even more. It is hard to know where to start when you are engaged and planning a wedding, and things can get overwhelming pretty fast. Attending an open house at your wedding venue can be extremely helpful for many reasons. First off, it is a great excuse for a date night. We all know that with work and wedding planning, date nights tend to get put on the back burner, so what better way to have a date night than to have it at the place where you are going to say, “I Do.” At our open houses, you can sample in-house catering, signature cocktails and get those giddy butterflies as you picture saying your vows to one another in that exact spot.

Not only is the open house a great date night, but it is also full of valuable information to make your wedding planning process much more manageable. Instead of aimlessly searching the Internet for vendors, you can meet them right there in person. Chat with a DJ about song selections, ask a florist about inseason floral, or get a quote from the amazing photographer. The biggest asset to attending an open house is the ability to chat face to face with dozens of North Texas’ top vendors. As a promise to our couples, we only invite the top vendors we love working with. We would never recommend a vendor for one of our brides who we wouldn’t use ourselves.

Another big reason to attend an open house is to help visualize ideas and decor for your big day. At the open house, we always have a florist display their amazing talents by decorating our favorite focal points of the venue. For our last open house to help our clients picture their big day with us at Hidden Creek, we put on a faux wedding complete with a ceremony, grand entrance, first dance, and even a grand exit with special effects. By attending the faux wedding, couples could see exactly how their wedding day could go and envision themselves on that special day. Every open house here at Hidden Creek always has a different theme so that everyone can find a style that best fits their vision.
