Dr. Chelsey Green

Concert Violinist

Dr. Chelsey Green was born into a family of jazz and funk musicians and started her performance career as a violinist at age 5. Dr. Green received a scholarship for classical viola studies at The University of Texas at Austin. Continuing her studies, she received a Master’s degree from The Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Maryland College Park. In August 2017, Dr. Green was appointed Associate Professor in the String Department at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

Dr. Chelsey Green and her ensemble, The Green Project, tear down all stereotypes of the violin and viola by fusing traditional classical technique with popular favorites and enticing original songs in various genres– including R&B, Pop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Alternative, Hip Hop, Gospel and more!

Chelsey is a member of the Montgomery County Chapter of The Society Incorporated.

Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan

Concert Pianist

Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan is a renowned Concert Pianist dazzling audiences nationwide by the wizardry yet refined gracefulness of her sensational talent. Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan is a graduate of the Howard University Master of Music Program. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Capital University Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ohio. She has won numerous accolades and awards of achievement.

Dana attended various summer programs which include the Interlochen World Center for the Arts, Northwestern University Summer Music Institute, The Recording Workshop, The Cleveland Institute, and the Westminster Choir College of Rider University.

Dana continues to give back to her DC community. She mentors young pianists from the Young Scholar Musicians program and has served as a summer camp counselor for Girls Rock! DC. She is a member of The Society, Inc., (an organization that promotes youth in the arts), The Links, Incorporated., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and The Phillips Collection.
