GriefShare is a weekly Support Group and Seminar Series for anyone that is grieving the death of someone close to them. It is an alternative to traditional bereavement support. Created by Church Initiative...GriefShare is a national program that is locally sponsored by Kent Island United Methodist Church. The program is non- denominational and features biblical concepts for healing through the grieving process. The DVD Seminar Series presents a new topic each week that is led and discussed by counselors, pastors, and other grief support experts. You are welcome to begin attending the weekly meetings at anytime...OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN.

Mission/Services: Working to Provide a Life of Love and Dignity for All Animals. Chesapeake Cats and Dogs is a 501C(3) non-profit, lifetime haven and no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed or surrendered. We teach and encourage responsible pet ownership and pet population control. CCAD remains committed to helping end the needless overpopulation, death, abuse and neglect of dogs and cats in our area and improving their lives as well as the lives of their new owners. When we take in an animal, they are with us until we can place them in a good, loving home. To accomplish our mission, we rely on regular adoptions, donations, and volunteers!
