There are more than 5,300 Thai restaurants in the United States (2018). They all come from different parts with different experience, and a lot of them don’t even come from Thailand. Therefore, the food they serve can range from Bistro to authentic Thai food. It can be difficult to evaluate true authentic Thai cuisine. The Thai Select award is presented to good Thai restaurants by Ministry of Commerce agents from Thailand. The award guarantees you are served good Thai food. Even though some of them perform better than others, and only you are the judge.

We left Gwinnett county in 2009 during the gas price crisis. We lost most of our major customers and many business corporations moved to Sugar loaf and elsewhere. New generations of Korean moved into town. They support their own food. There were over 110 eatery places on a 1 mile strip on Pleasant Hill Road. It was time to get out and explore the United States. We moved to Springfield, MO, opened Nipa’s Thai Cuisine, and received a good review from Springfield News-leader. Unfortunately, the weather is so bad in Springfield, it’s so cold, piles of snow in the parking lot around the building that has to be removed before business hours. and deadly tornadoes sweep town every year. It’s too far from good produces and Grocery supplies like Kansas city or Missouri (about 180 miles from Spring field). That’s not the way I do my business because I like to buy produces every other days, not once a week. Encountering problems of building constructions that was beyond our spending budget to repair, Weather allergy hit us too bad to stay in the city. Before we left, we had an opportunity to work with most famous Chinese family in Joplin (nearby city). We had learned more Chinese food techniques and Sushi as well.
