Henry County Humane Society is a 501 c 3 nonprofit charity organization licensed by the Georgia State Department of Agriculture. We are located at 46 Work Camp Road in McDonough, Georgia. We work closely with our local animal control facility to help reduce their numbers and find suitable homes for pets who have found themselves impounded and unwanted. We survive on donations. We receive no county, state or government funding.

Our Mission is to strengthen Henry County by providing children and their families with quality books and useful literacy resources at home during the earliest stages of development. Registered children receive 1 FREE book every month from birth to age 5.
