OF APPROVAL
14
The Season Ticket is currently the online home of ‘shoe circuit’ media coverage in grassroots basketball. Our basketball-specific coverage is called ‘The Circuit’. No other entity covers the space like us. The ‘governing bodies’ in grassroots hoops are USA Basketball, and three of the biggest apparel companies in the world; Nike, Adidas and Under Armour.
THE PROGRAM PAGE The Season Ticket provides all of the tools necessary for youth club programs to efficiently and accurately market themselves to every youth parent in their sporting demographic.
THE PLAYER PAGE The Season Ticket allows the youth athlete to build and manage a curated player profile page that both players and parents can edit.
THE COACH’S PAGE The coach page provides a platform to market and advertise their career achievements, accolades, alumni, playing schedules and more.

It’s time to level up the playing field
ONE MILLION Number of high school students academicaally ineligible to play NCAA sports every year
1 of every 2 under-resourced student athletes are academically ineligible for college sports every year
NCAA academic eligibility is extraordinarily complex and confusing
The process is a multi-tiered matrix: ACT | SAT test scores NCAA approved core courses Special NCAA GPA
Level the playing field by radically simplifying NCAA academic eligibility requirements for student athletes 16
CARE
CARE® is the first solution to provide student athletes a clear path to be academically eligible:

THE BRE My main goal is to win it all at Nike Nationals espeically because this is my last AAU season and I feel like I have grown a lot with this team. Im excited about the exposure in general as it is a really big tournament each year and getting to play agaisnt some of the best teams in the country is always fun. Some goals for myself is to play how I play and dont really change against anyone and just try my best every game.

I am kind of a defenser player and rebounding is something that I always been really good at and I kow doing that will help my team. I love defense and getting on the court and doing the dirty work for my team. This has been a great aspect of my game and am willing to continue to grow in.

interview series I value a family atmosphere in a team, always getting along, and chemistry on the court and off the court is really important to me. Just having that makes my recruting experience more enjoyable and produces better quality on the court.

I have been looking forward to matching up with Team Takeover and one of the more exciting games we had was with Cal Stars as that was a very exciting game. I definelty want to play agaisnt them again with our whole group because that was our only loss so far.

HANNAH HILDAGO
Our season is going good and there is a lot of talent on the team. With that talent I defienlty think we can win the Nike Nationals. But there is a few things we have to fix but we are defiently on the right track for going there and especially since we are a first year program.

OVERVIEW This year’s season has been consistently strong for the Alabama Southern Starz. Sitting at an overall NEYC record of 21-5 and recording a 15-4 mark against EYBL teams, this group have tallied wins in 11 of their last 13 games. A huge part of their success has been anchoring down on the defensive end post 47.2 PPG allowed against EYBL opponents (2nd best in the EYBL). Featuring a good mix of versatile guards and dominating post players, this team has the tools to continue posting winning results while stifling their opponents offensively.

THE STAR The Alabama Southern Starz are one of the elite defensive units on the EYBL and that effort is spear-headed by 2022 4-star guard Kara Dunn. A tough on-ball defender, Dunn creates a lot of turnovers at the point of attack and engineers efficient offensive opportunities for her squad. Dishing out her own offensive damage, Dunn can stretch the floor from the perimeter and is crafty off-thedribble to get inside the first line of defenders. She is a patient offensive threat and will make defenses pay one way or another.

OVERVIEW All Iowa Attack arrives at Nike Nationals as the most battle-tested group this season in the entire field. Blake Jensen’s team has solely participated in NEYC events this summer and were able to compile an overall record of 37-8. Losing 5 games in their first 10 appearances on the year, the program has abruptly rounded into top form and have only lost once in their last 24 contests. A 24-5 record against EYBL teams is a testament to how dynamic All Iowa Attack’s offense has and will continue to be for teams to deal with in this tournament.
PPG Allowed Against EYBL Teams:
48.4
PPG Scored Against EYBL Teams:
THE STAR All Iowa Attack has a lot of valuable pieces and the way they utilize them creates a great balance on both ends of the floor. However, Iowa commit Taylor McCabe helps to drastically ease the offensive flow and open the floor for this juggernaut to get up to speed. McCabe is an ultra-reliant sharpshooter with a quick release. She knocks down her perimeter opportunities at a high rate and creates a lot of defensive over-rotations to occur because of her abilities. Without accounting for McCabe defenses are in for a long game.

OVERVIEW All-Ohio has really struggled to find their offense the entire season, ranking last in the NEYC at 35.5 PPG. The result is a less-than-desired 1-9 record against EYBL competition, while suffering countless blowouts. Difficulties scoring the ball combined with a bottom third defense has prevent this group from gaining any positive momentum this season. However, if that track record is to change All-Ohio has significantly begun to turn up their production on both ends producing a win against Boo Williams at Battle of the Best and a recent paid of close losses. Maybe their misfortunes this season are behind them.
PPG Allowed Against EYBL Teams:

THE STAR Kyla Oldacre: The star for All Ohio is center Kyla Oldacre. The 4-star truly dominates the paint on both ends of the floor. She is a rebounding magnet and utilizes her 6’6” frame to rip the ball out of the sky. Oldacre shows good lateral acceleration to anchor the defensive end for All Ohio and can stifle frontcourt and backcourt players alike. She also does a good job to seal defenders on the offensive end and present herself as a big and reliable target for guards to funnel the rock to.

OVERVIEW A 5-1 performance at their season-opening home event, the Boo Williams Regional, was the perfect start to the year for this squad. However, the Cal Stars 44-point thrashing in the final sent Boo Williams on a meandering journey the rest of the way unable to regain their form. Large gaps in between tournaments have helped to prevent this group from building much momentum. Yet, this team is still very talented and sporadic wins against All Iowa Attack, North Tartan and Team Takeover show this program can make noise when things are “normal.” Four losses of less than 5 points at the Battle of the Best could also have us talking very differently about this team entering Nike Nationals if one or two shots had gone their way.

H/T @o_mcghee2023
THE STAR Despite the depth of guard talent featured on Boo Williams roster, junior Olivia McGhee has already proven herself at the top of it. McGhee is a shifty and long weapon for the team to utilize. She has strong range and can consistently freeze her defenders off-the-dribble. She has little difficulty fighting through traffic on her way to the rim and is comfortable pulling her jumper on the move. McGhee’s length is a huge asset for her team on the glass and incorporating the option to lead the break from end to end is quite handy to maximize the speed of this roster.

OVERVIEW The Cal Sparks overall record in the NEYC, 11-8, won’t get noticed in the same overtly positive light that some other teams will receive. However, this team has assembled a strong season and have consistently avoided stringing together losses. They’ve taken care of business when it was expected and have fought hard to turn in some “good” losses against several top teams on the EYBL circuit. The Cal Sparks have the collective mental fortitude to handle the requirements of challenging for a title at Nike Nationals and may enter the tournament flying a bit under the radar.

THE STAR Cal Sparks have a spark plug, pun intended, in guard Londynn Jones. The left-handed UCLA commit is lightning quick and can change directions at the snap of a finger. She has a smooth jumper to knock down shots from the perimeter, but she is super-efficient at scoring downhill as well. Jones does well to set up her defenders before attacking and plays m uch bigger than her 5’5” frame suggests. She gets in traffic, takes contact and crashes the glass when given the chance. She brings the perfect energy to the floor for a leader.

OVERVIEW The Cal Stars came out of the gates quick this season and have not looked back once. Opening with a 5-1 record, the program rattled off win streaks of 12 and 9 games in the middle of the year to push their overall record to 31-4, including a 21-4 mark against EYBL opponents. Kelly Sopak’s group is deep and battle-tested heading into Nike Nationals. With a well-balanced roster to control play on both ends of the court, this team will be a menacing opponent to out in the tournament.

THE STAR 2023 5-star Breya Cunningham is the literal anchor for the Cal Stars. The 6’4” forward is a disciplined and reliable post defender for this team, and she constantly battles hard underneath the basket. Cunningham has good footwork and numerous moves to score in and around the rim. She plays with a mean streak and channels that into being a very efficient player on both ends of the floor for the Cal Stars.

OVERVIEW Piecing together stretches of 5-1 to open and 6-1 to close things out was a nice way for Cal Storm Team Taurasi to bookend their season. This team, like any other, has experienced their difficult moments this summer, but they’ve done a good job to manage those times and get the train back on the tracks immediately. With a well-balanced roster in both the frontcourt and backcourt, this group was able to limit their experiences of consecutive losses to twice this season. Cal Storm Team Taurasi has the potential to string together several wins and go on yet another run at Nike Nationals when it matters most. PPG Allowed Against EYBL Teams:

THE STAR Cal Storm Team Taurasi has a ringer in 2023 guard Chloe Briggs. Bringing a lot of ferocity to her ball-handling repertoire, Briggs loves to breakdown her defenders 1-on-1. She is quick downhill and keeps defenders off-balance opening up multiple options to make impact plays on any possession. Briggs has consistently deep range, but also has no issue scoring in close regardless of spacing to her defenders. She can facilitate in tight spaces and truly opens the offensive game for this squad.

A 2-10 record over their next 12 games, including double-digit margins in each loss, have revealed difficulties on both ends of the floor for this team. However, the recent addition of UCLA commit Jada Williams has helped to spark more consistent play in those areas. Winning 2 of their last 3 games in Chicago signals Cal Swish GBL may get back to their winning ways at Nike Nationals.

THE STAR The recent addition of Jada Williams gives this team a talented a 2023 5-star duo in the backcourt, however Judea “JuJu’ Watkins takes the edge as the team’s star. Watkins, the #1 player in her class, is a comfortable scoring threat from all three levels. She has a great feel for the game and creating scoring opportunities from any spot on the floor. Watkins brings a certain physicality to the court, regardless of position, and converts a lot of hustle plays for her team to gain momentum.

OVERVIEW The Carolina Flames have struggled against EYBL competition this season. Despite tallying 5 wins against the rest of the league, this team has experienced difficulties playing optimal offense and defense simultaneously. Even though they’ve been close several times, beating teams in the top half of the EYBL have been a code too jumbled for this group to crack. Turning in more consistent performances at Nike Tournament of Champions gives a glimmer of hope things are about to change.
PPG Allowed Against EYBL Teams:

THE STAR Imani Lester, a recent commit of the Louisville Cardinal, is the star of the Carolina Flames. Bringing the physicality to the paint, defenses have to be prepared to muscle up to stop Lester down low. She possesses agile footwork in her skillset and very soft touch on her jumper to hurt defenses consistently. Lester is a dominating face-up big and utilizes her view of the court and play development to plan her attacks.

OVERVIEW Colorado Premier have been able to push through their difficult spots this season to a 13-8 NEYC record. While they have routinely hit rough patches to stall their momentum, this group have only dropped two games outside of the top 5 teams (Michigan Crossover – 2x). While most of their losses have come via blowout, their roster is experienced, big and physical. Keith Van Horn has his team locked in and if they can manage to avoid the letdown game at Nike Nationals they may be in line for a sleeper pick when it’s all said and done.

THE STAR The undisputed star for Colorado Premier is center Lauren Betts. Bringing global experience and a gold medal to the fray, Betts was the only non-college selection to the U19 Team USA National Team this week. She is a huge defensive anchor for her squad and eats up space to stall offenses. She’s a menace around the rim and will certainly make many players weary of entering the paint. Betts also brings consistent production on the block for her team, but her vision and feel to distribute the ball all over the court elevates the play of her teammates.

OVERVIEW Cy Fair Elite arrive in North August with a 12-4 NEYC record including 3 losses against EYBL competition. Winning 8 of their last 9 games coming into Nike Nationals, this group certainly have things in order ahead of tipoff. Their 4th-ranked offense has forced teams to speed up games and operate out of character. In fact, their ability to put the ball in the net has handed losses to a pair of top-5 EYBL defenses. If the shots aren’t falling against Cy Fair Elite, teams will find themselves chasing.

THE STAR Chloe Clardy: Arkansas native Chloe Clardy is a star among stars for Cy Fair Elite. She is a very quick player who flys around the court and creates space on the move for her shot. She loves to get downhill and bring physicality to other players in the paint, but her perimeter game is still a reliable asset in her arsenal. Clardy is a hardnosed defensive player and is a big reason for why Cy Fair Elite has been so disruptive on that side of the ball this season.

OVERVIEW Looking back on this season, it’s been very tough for DFW Elite to secure wins against EYBL competition. They are winless on the year and have been unable to maintain consistent offensive performances in these matchups. Their recent play at the Big State Flava Jam however, was their best yet and 4 wins in 5 games is a very positive sign heading into Nike Nationals. Better offensive production and recent defensive improvements to match have created optimism that DFW Elite can stir the pot a bit.

THE STAR Jazmyne Jackson brings it every time DFW Elite takes to the court. The speedy guard tires defenses with her energy and ability to slip through defenses. Jackson is a shifty ball-handler and pairs that unpredictability with a smooth jumper. She puts pressure on her opponents to stay in close proximity on the offensive end, but her tendency to stop on a dime makes it difficult to counter her attacks every single time. Jackson is a three-level scoring threat and provides consistency in the scoring column for DFW Elite to feed off.

OVERVIEW High octane offense is the name of the game for Exodus. Ranked 3rd in the EYBL in this category, their scoring has pushed several top-5 teams to the brink of upset. Despite rattling off four wins in a row to start the year, Exodus has not been able to regain the same form until recently at the Nike Tournament of Champions. Adding to their recent momentum, this team has seemingly turned up the intensity on the defensive side of the ball and could utilize better play at both ends to advance out of their pool.

THE STAR Life gets significantly easier for Drive Nation with guard Laila McLeod on the floor. McLeod is a capable initiator of the offense and can dictate the flow of the game for her squad. However, it’s her expansive offensive repertoire scoring the ball that truly makes her the star of the bunch. Bringing pro-range to her 3-point shot and physicality at the rim to play through contact make McLeod a tough player to guard. Yet, her ultra-efficient scoring from the mid-range makes it very difficult to keep her out of her “hot” spots on the floor.

OVERVIEW As far as sleepers or potential bracket busters go ahead of Nike Nationals, there may be no bigger threat to the standings than Essence. With a deceptive 8-10 overall NEYC record, 8 of the team’s 9 losses to EYBL opponents have come by 8 points or less. To add another layer to that narrative, 5 of those losses came at the hands of top-10 teams including a 5-point victory against a top-2 team. They’ve been on the edge of breaking out all season long, if teams aren’t careful they may suffer defeat of their own.

THE STAR Essence has an incredible weapon in 2022 forward Janiah Barker. At 6’2” she brings an incredible dynamicism to the floor that requires difficult adjustments for defenses to make. Barker features comfortable range from the perimeter to stretch the defense and a versatile post-game to play with her back to the basket or facing up. She has a good feel for the game and uses her physicality and ball-handling to create mismatches in transition. In addition, Barker is a willing passer drawing in defenses to the extent that her teammates can cut and spot up at will to pick apart their opponents.

THE STAR Paris Clark is bringing the tough New York mentality to the basketball court for Exodus. Characteristic of top products from NYC, Clark is a physical guard who loves to punch their defenders in the mouth. She challenges them on every single play to stay in front of her and guard her top speed and acceleration. Clark can knife through traffic with the best of them and finish through contact at the rim. OVERVIEW Heading into Nike Nationals, the Fairfax Stars only have one small blemish on their record. Back-to-back losses at the Boo Williams Regional define this team’s “worst stretch” if it can even be called that. Anchored by the EYBL’s 4th-ranked defense, the Fairfax Stars force the pressure onto their opponents to help secure wins. This has resulted in wins over top-10 offenses four times. This group has the potential to stifle any offense in the field and win, if their offense is up to the challenge as well.

THE STAR Former Team USA U16 National Team representative, KiKi Rice is the undeniable star of the Fairfax Stars. Rice brings tremendous length to the floor and utilizes it to snake through defenses on her way to the bucket. She is an excellent pick-and-roll player as a result of this, but her quick first step allows her to create a lot of scoring opportunities herself. Rice does a great job of turning angles to cut off defenders, but also has a solid repertoire of moves to shoot over the defense as well. As a complete player, she is very valuable for the Fairfax Stars entering Nike Nationals.

OVERVIEW Kentucky Premier enters Nike Nationals on a 5-game losing streak and have had issues stringing together more than two wins at a time. This team hangs tough and their 7-10 overall record in NEYC play is more of a “what if” rather than being taken at face value. Six of the team’s losses have come by six points or less indicating the overall potential for this group to hang tough down the stretch. Their composure under pressure should help them to get out of their current streak and hopefully achieving their biggest win streak of the year to advance out of the pool.

OVERVIEW The Miami Suns started the year off well recording a 3-1 mark at their home tournament, the Sunshine State Showdown, followed by a win in their first game at the Boo Williams Regional. However, the remainder of their season has been a bit streaky without the team able to string together more than two wins at a time. Despite their ups and downs, the Miami Suns have been able to hang close in most of their games to maintain a shot at victory. THE STAR The Miami Suns go-to player is Sydney Shaw. The top-50 guard is a super productive offensive weapon and takes a lot of pressure off of her teammates in the scoring department. Shaw does a lot of her damage off-the-dribble and displays a lot of vision and natural feel for manipulating defenses. She engineers scoring attacks with ease and excels in getting her shots off in crowded spaces. She is great at elevating over defenders to dominate possession of the ball and maximizing scoring opportunities. She has strong acceleration as well to ignite the breakaway all game long.

OVERVIEW Tallying respectable 11-15 overall record in the NEYC this season is nothing to scoff at for Midwest Elite. Considering half of their 10-player roster is outside the 2022 class, this team features some promising upside in the coming seasons. With numerous close losses against EYBL competition, combined with an impressive win here and there, it’s fair to say this group is not far off from being a quality challenger. This group may have been limited more by development and experience than other groups, but once they turn the corner watch out!

THE STAR 2023 guard Kamorea “KK” Arnold is Midwest Elite’s star. Selected to the Team USA U16 National Team recently, Arnold is an excellent creator off-thedribble. She has a strong understanding of change of pace and putting defenders in off-balance situations. Capitalizing on this ability, Arnold is very adept at getting downhill and into the middle of the defense. She finishes tough plays and opens up scoring opportunities for her teammates all over the court. Arnold’s skillset is highly complementary towards elevating the play of those around her and will come in very handy for Midwest Elite at Nike Nationals.

OVERVIEW The Missouri Phenom have been victorious in 8 of their last 10 games leading into Nike Nationals. With both of their losses in that stretch occurring by less than 5 points each, it’s safe to say this team is playing close to its best at the perfect time. They will be confident heading into tournament play with the added familiarity of their pool play opponents. Featuring a record of 1-3 against these teams, including some heavyweight battles, the action will be exciting and potentially occur with different results this time around for Missouri Phenom.

THE STAR The Missouri Phenom look early and often to guard Averi Kroenke. The Missouri commit is very creative off-the-dribble and knows how to create space for her jump shot. She does a good job of attacking angles that pin her defender on her back hip to keep options open for the whole offense on any given play. Kroenke is a very consistent scorer from all three levels and will be counted on heavily to push the Missouri Phenom out of pool play.

OVERVIEW This season has not gone according to plan for the New Jersey Sparks. Play against EYBL teams has been rocky on both ends of the floor resulting in an 0-8 mark. Ranking in the bottom 5 of both points scored and allowed per game against these teams does little to simplify the issues this team has been coping with. If they are to turn things around at Nike Nationals, they will have to lean heavily on Big Ten commits Paulina Paris (Penn State) and Antonia Bates (Rutgers) to change the program’s momentum.

THE STAR Junior Penn State commit Paulina Paris makes the New Jersey Sparks go. She embodies the true nature of a point guard and has the capability to light up the scoreboard just as well. Paris has a violent crossover and utilizes her acceleration well to get through multiple layers of the defense quickly. She pairs those traits with physicality in traffic and a natural ability to finish tough plays at the rim. Paris is lethal in transition and really helps this team efficiently convert defense to offense.

OVERVIEW North Tartan strung together winning streaks of 7 and 5 games respectively in the middle of the year to gain significant momentum heading into the live period. A 3-point loss to All Iowa Attack at Summer Jam prevented a 13-game winning streak from occurring and securing the championship at their home event. This team has the talent and on-court makeup to counter any playing style their opponents throw at them. THE STAR In a star-studded backcourt, Kiani Lockett edges out her counterparts in North Tartan’s three-headed monster. The recent Creighton commit is excellent at dissecting defenses off-the-dribble and is a go-to weapon in late game situations when her team needs a bucket. Lockett has a great first step and uses strong change of pace to put her defenders in disadvantageous decisions. Maintaining a constant attack mindset, she opens the floor for her teammates through penetration and can readily tire defenses out without putting the ball through the net.

OVERVIEW Bringing the EYBL’s top ranked offense to North Augusta, at 62.5 PPG against league opponents, the Philly Rise are a tough team to knock off. With a 13-4 record on the season, 3 of the team’s 4 defeats came by 5 points or less and all came from teams positioned in the top 8 of the standings. Having approached tournament entries conservatively this year, it’s likely this group have even more cards to play at Nike Nationals. Coming off their lone back-toback losses this season at the Tournament of Champions, you can bet this offense is ready to shift to another gear.

THE STAR A truly versatile player for Philly Rise, Justine Pissott is a true initiator for this team’s offense. The 6’2” wing has great court vision and consistently threads the needle to facilitate the rock to her teammates. Pissott has a strong influence on the movement of the defense from play-to-play with her passing alone, but her ability to keep them honest with her jumper is a big factor. The Tennessee commit has deep range and soft touch to hit shots from all three levels. Her health in the second half of the summer has ensured this team has maintained high momentum leading into Nike Nationals.

OVERVIEW The Dallas-based program has put together a strong campaign this summer with an NEYC record of 12-7. That mark does not provide enough context for Earl Rooks group, who have only lost to one team (FBC United – twice) outside of EYBL play this year. The remaining 5 losses have come by 6 points or less and all to teams positioned in the top-7 of the NEYC standings. THE STAR Ayanna Thompson is the perfect example of what ProSkills players embody on the court. A blend of physicality and athleticism, she is tough and relentless on the court. T hompson takes on the toughest defensive assignments and finds ways to get her long arms in the path of the ball-handler to create turnovers. The recent Ole Miss commit can stretch the floor and take it to the teeth of the defense just as well. However, Thompson’s knack for turning defense into offense really helps this team to build momentum.

OVERVIEW A 10-3 start to their year was very impressive for a team featuring only two players from the 2022 class. Loaded with talent destined to continue shining over the next several seasons, the Lady Gym Rats have turned in some eye-popping performances. OVERVIEW Early-season woes at the Southern Starz Shootout and Boo Williams Regional forced some deep self-reflection for Team Elite. An 0-6 start against EYBL competition was not an ideal way to begin the year, but whatever changes were implemented after leaving Hampton, Virginia have worked very well. This team has not only won 4 of their last 5 EYBL games, 5 of their last 6 NEYC games, but have turned up their offensive and defensive production to 11. OVERVIEW Finishing a couple games under .500 this season has truly exemplified the very different halves Tree of Hope has experienced this year. Losing 8 of their first 10 games, this team looked to be in for a difficult season. However, the program has been playing much more consistently in the latter half of their schedule and were a pair of 3-point losses away from finishing 8-3 at Battle of the Best and Nike Tournament of Champions. With momentum restored, Tree of Hope will be happy to see familiar faces in their pool to game plan for in hopes of advancing.

OVERVIEW An early win streak started at the Boo Williams Regional looked to stop the bleeding for West Coast Premier early in the season. However, numerous losing streaks since have produced a 3-9 record against EYBL competition. While some close results highlight “good” losses sprinkled in here and there, difficulties finishing down the stretch have prevented many winning streaks this year.
