While working with underserved youth in her student teaching placement, she found her passion for social work. From there, she pursued her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University. She began her career as a clinician, and then became a Clinical Supervisor. After working in community mental health and fee-for-service agencies, Sarah was drawn to the mission of GCW and the opportunity to provide free social and emotional support services, bringing her back to why she initially wanted to pursue a career in social work.
