on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, At.mosphere offers a dining experience that blends culinary refinement with extraordinary views. On our visit, we sampled the chef discovery tasting menu and found it both sophisticated and approachable. Seated by the window, we had an uninterrupted view of the city lights, with the Dubai Fountain Show shimmering far below. The setting was spectacular and complemented by attentive and professional service. While the staff leaned towards formality, their expertise and precision added to the overall experience. The tasting menu avoided the pitfalls
of being overly conceptual. It started with an amuse-bouche, which set the stage for the dishes that followed. The lobster soup stood out with its velvety bisque, delicate carpaccio, and a surprising pistachio sorbet.
The langoustine had a hint of tandoori spice, paired beautifully with parsley and confit tomatoes. The sea bass, steamed with seaweed and leeks, showcased clean, balanced flavours.
The wagyu beef brought depth with its fermented pepper sauce, mushroom trumpet, and potato confit. For dessert, the Exotic offered a delightful combination of almond crumble, coconut foam, and passionfruit sorbet, while mignardises added the perfect finishing touch.
Each dish was well-proportioned, ensuring we left feeling satisfied but not overindulged. This thoughtful approach to portioning made it easy to enjoy every part of the meal.
