TheRoundabout Employee Service Recognition Program
Our Annual Employee Service Recognition Program will be held on August 23, 2023, at 3 p.m. We will be recognizing employees that have met milestone anniversaries in the past year, retirees, and former military employees. Jennie Montgomery, Channel 6 News Anchor, will return as our emcee. We are shifting the location to the Performing Arts Center which will lend itself better for both the ceremony and reception. We are excited to recognize our hard working employees, and we hope to see you there!

Years of Service Recognition
Employees that achieved milestone work anniversaries this past year (5 years, 10 years, 15 years, etc.) will receive an invitation from HR through the mail. You will receive your service pin from your Division Director at some point before or right after the program. During the actual program, your name will be announced by Jennie Montgomery, and your picture will be displayed on a large screen with your name and current department. All you have to do is raise your hand or stand if you want. You do not have to get on stage to be recognized, so don't worry about that! We want to keep this stress free so that you can enjoy the program.
Military Service Recognition
Part of our Employee Service Recognition Program involves honoring employees that have served in the military or currently serve (Reserves). If you qualify for this honor, and you were not recognized at one of our previous Recognition Programs, please complete this information so that we can include you this year. Survey Link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6PZKJ38 (Information is needed by July 28, 2023 )
Your photo, name, rank, and Branch of Service will be displayed during the program. You do not have to get on stage to be recognized, so please consider submitting your information if you qualify for this honor.
Invitees are welcome to bring guests, so be sure to RSVP with Martha Bartles once you get your invitation. There will be a reception immediately following with heavy Hors d'oeuvres.

We look forward to recognizing the service of our valued employees!

1 in 5 people are neurodivergent, meaning their brain functions differently in one or more ways than is considered standard or typical. Their unique traits are often characterized as "neurodiverse conditions". The idea is that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one “right” way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits. They are “unique” and have a lot to offer the world if only given the opportunity.

Join us on August 11, 2023 at 12pm in the Evans Auditorium in Building A for our inaugural meeting. As this involves protected information, we cannot identify impacted employees to issue individual invitations for registration. All are welcome. If you think you may benefit from participating, please join us. We encourage you to complete the following survey that informs us about your interest in the group and whether or not you will be attending the first meeting. Although most of the questions in the survey are optional, the registration information is used to help us keep in contact with you about the meeting and to plan accordingly for the number of attendees. Survey results are confidential and are only shared with Human Resources and the two contacts for this group. If you feel more comfortable reaching out to one of us instead of completing the registration questions in the survey, please feel free to do so. More information about the meeting will be provided accordingly by email to those that register and in the next Roundabout.
