1 in 5 people are neurodivergent, meaning their brain functions differently in one or more ways than is considered standard or typical. Their unique traits are often characterized as 'neurodiverse conditions.’ The idea is that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one “right” way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits. Join us on August 11, 2023 at 12pm in the Evans Auditorium in Building A for our inaugural meeting. As this involves protected information, we cannot identify impacted employees to issue individual invitations for registration. All are welcome! If you think you may benefit from participating, please join us. We encourage you to complete the following survey that informs us about your interest in the group and whether or not you will be attending the first meeting. Although most of the questions in the survey are optional, the registration information is used to help us keep in contact with you about the meeting and to plan accordingly for the number of attendees. Survey results are confidential and are only shared with Human Resources and the two contacts for this group. If you feel more comfortable reaching out to one of us instead of completing the registration questions in the survey, please feel free to do so. More information about the meeting will be provided accordingly by email to those that register.
Lunch will be provided to those that register!
If you are attending to support the group or another coworker, we also encourage you to complete the survey so we are able to plan accordingly for the inaugural meeting.
