Mandatory Compliance Training Employees are required to complete Compliance Training before the end of their New Hire Probationary Period, and certificates must be renewed every two years from May through June. If you work for an elected official, he or she will determine your participation in this training. If you were hired since January 1, 2023, and have completed these videos, you do not have to review them again during this two year cycle. Establish a time approved by your supervisor to complete the training during your work day, or contact Human Resources to provide assistance by calling 706-868-3300.
Deadline: June 30, 2023 Instructions are included in the following pages as well as directions on how to download all of your certificates once you are done. All completion certificates should be emailed to Danielle ColtonCouch at dcoltoncouch@columbiacountyga.gov by June 30, 2023.

Culture of Civility: Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace SVL_1027730 (50 minutes) HOW TO ACCESS THE VIDEOS: 1. Go to www.theEAP.com and select “Member Login” on the upper right side of the screen. 2. If you have registered before, enter your Username and Password and click “Sign In”. If you need to recover your password, click here. If you need to recover your username, click here. 3. If you have never registered on this site, select “REGISTER”. Create a username, type "Columbia County of Georgia" for Organization Name, create a password and answer a security question. Click “Register”. The system should automatically log you in after registering. 4. Select the “Training Center” image, then “Comprehensive Training Library”. 5. To locate the required courses, use the search field at the top of the screen to type the course code. The course codes can be found after each training course listed above in red font. You can copy and paste the course codes. 6. Launch the training video and follow the instructions. (The next page shows screenshots of the respective videos.) 7. Ensure that you click on the Certificate/Diploma icon at the end of the training and print/download your certificate. When you click it, your pdf certificate will be downloaded. The supervisor does not have to sign the certificate. 8. Once all videos have been successfully completed, SEND A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATES TO DANIELLE COLTON-COUCH IN HR AT dcoltoncouch@columbiacountyga.gov. She will make sure that this information is entered into your employee profile after you send your certificates to her.

Downloading Completion Certificates 1. After logging in, on your homepage in left column, click the words "Looking for your Training Certificate? Click here!"
2. Then it takes you to your transcript that lists the videos you have completed. Go to the column towards the right that says "Certificate" and click on the gold icon in that column. It will download that certificate for you.
Once you have downloaded ALL of your certificates, attach all of them to one email and send to Danielle Colton-Couch at dcoltoncouch@columbiacountyga.gov. Please do not send them to her one at a time. Supervisors do not have to sign the downloaded certificates.

Employee Referral Incentive This time last year, we began our new employee referral incentive where current employees could earn a day of PTO for referring a new hire. Once the new hire completes one year of service, our current employee is credited with the PTO.
