This begins a whole raft of exciting changes at The Roses taking place as we head into 2023, including a new intimate Studio Screen for our cutting-edge film programme, a refurbished bar and café area, and a new website. This will transform our space to be even more warm and welcoming, and embeds our values of friendship, openness, and joy into the design of the building so that you have an even better experience when you’re here. Watch this space for updates!
Alongside this we’ve launched a new youth strand, Roses Young Creatives, giving under 25 years olds the opportunity to make and perform in theatre and film productions. If you’re interested in getting involved, find out more on pages 04–05.

Join us for a friendly, fun and inclusive group singing session that helps to support lung health. This will be a supportive and nonjudgemental session where the singing serves as a way to help manage lung health using warm ups, breathing exercises, relaxation exercises and songs. Feast of Fiddles

Feast of Fiddles set out on their Spring tour once again in 2023. This year, Chris Leslie is taking time out to get back to fiddle making so, following her debut in 2022 as a full member of the band, Marion Fleetwood has now become permanent!
She joins fiddlers Peter Knight (Gigspanner, Steeleye Span), Brian McNeill (Battlefield Band), Ian Cutler (Bully Wee), Tom Leary (Joe Brown) and Garry Blakeley (Band of Two) who add the large range of fiddle playing styles to the rock back-line of guitars, keyboards, sax and accordion — all held together by legendary drummer Dave Mattacks.

Cloudbusting: Love & Anger

Banter are Nina Zella, Simon Care, Tim Walker and Mark Jolley: Four fine musicians whose roots are firmly in the traditional English genre, but who enjoy stretching the limits — in what a lot of people refer to as “the quirky Banter twist”. Formed in 2015, due to a happy accident, they immediately realised their common love for traditional English song and dance and began to mess around with it. Now firmly established as one of the UK’s finest bands, they have recently recorded their third studio album Three; Their first album of traditional material, but with that twist. Oldilocks and the Three Bears

One winter, Oldilocks finds a teddy bear in the park and remembers a delicious bowl of porridge she tasted years ago in the woods. Something else happened but she can’t quite remember what… so she sets off for the forest.
A wonderfully funny and warmhearted celebration of the classic story starring a naughty old lady who looks very familiar… and three funny bears who love their breakfast. Garlic Theatre hold their young audience spellbound with lovingly crafted puppets, music and some steaming bowls of porridge.

Fees & Charges
A postage charge of £1.50 per booking applies if you wish to have your tickets posted to you. You can avoid this charge by collecting your tickets from the Box Office or requesting printable e-tickets. A voluntary contribution will be requested with each transaction to help secure the future of The Roses.
Reservations & Refunds
Reservations: Payment is required for reserved tickets within 3 days of the reservation, or 3 days prior to the date of the event, whichever is the soonest. Any reserved tickets not paid for by this time will be released.
Exchanges: At our discretion, tickets can be exchanged for a different performance of the same event. An administration fee of £2 per ticket applies. We do not offer exchanges on tickets for different events.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds on any tickets unless the event is cancelled or postponed. If you are unable to attend a performance, and the performance is sold out, we may offer to resell your tickets. Members may be credited on performances that they are unable to attend provided we are notified prior to the event. Refund protection (ticket insurance) is available at point of purchase.

Only food and drinks purchased on the premises can be consumed whilst at The Roses. We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated or disorderly people.
