Hello!
Welcome to an exhilarating Autumn season here at The Roses!
This is one of my favourite times of the theatre’s year – as the evenings get darker, the lights and energy in the building seem to get brighter as the anticipation for pantomime and the festive season builds to a crescendo. And what a season we have for you this year; it’s almost impossible to pick a highlight amongst the music, entertainment, dance and comedy lined up over the next few months, but it would be remiss of me not to encourage you to come along to our pantomime, Beauty and the Beast. It’s the culmination of so many months of hard work and it is such a joy to see the wonder and excitement on our audiences’ faces.
If you’d rather participate than spectate, there is an ever-growing range of groups and activities to get involved in – see pages 4–9 to discover something new for you.

Finally, our summer facelift is now complete, so look out for exciting new additions to your experience over the coming months – we now have a shiny new second bar and will shortly be expanding our food offering to you. We’ll keep you updated on our progress on this.
As always, we are all incredibly grateful for your support. We couldn’t do it without you.

Sponsor The Roses Pantomime
A highlight of our calendar, the Roses Pantomime is a large part of our programme. We are looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor different areas of the production.
Both sponsorship packages include a bespoke press pack with PR support, opening night seats and hospitality. To find out more contact our Development Manager, Grace on grace.end@rosestheatre.org.
Sponsor the Chorus
£5,000
Every year the Roses Panto features a chorus of locally cast 8–14-year-olds. We are looking for support to keep improving the accessibility of this offer, increasing the diversity of the children involved. To do this we need a range of extra support behind the scenes from chaperones to extra choreography sessions. In 2023 we hope to be able to welcome our first disabled chorus member on stage – help us create this amazing opportunity.

Sponsor the Writer’s Commission
£10,000
In 2023 the Roses are launching a commissioning programme for underrepresented writers. The scheme includes a mentoring programme with BAFTA award winning writers. We’re looking for businesses that align with supporting new and next generation talent.
