It is my honor to acknowledge all of the donors listed within this Annual Report, many of whom have been steadfast supporters of the school for five or more consecutive years (names listed in bold) We are incredibly grateful to our longtime supporters and equally thankful for the many new donors whose gifts support the daily workings of The Roeper School

Who could have predicted your contribution to the 2019/20 Annual Fund last fall would be absolutely vital to helping Roeper overcome the challenges of a global pandemic? Thanks to the unwavering support of our friends and families, Roeper had the strong foundation necessary to withstand the hardships of an unprecedented moment in our school’s history

There is no question that this past year was different It was different for the obvious reasons — virtual learning, face masks and face shields, social distancing, etc But what became most evident during a year of constant disruption is that we are all in this together, and we can now see more clearly how truly interdependent we are We couldn’t have made it through this year without you We couldn’t have done it without all of us

Financial support from our community has allowed Roeper to thoughtfully respond to all of the year’s challenges while also upholding our commitment to financial aid, maintaining low student-teacher ratios, and exceeding CDC requirements for health and safety I can literally see Roeper Annual Fund dollars at work every time teachers use new technology to support virtual learning and each time our buildings are deep-cleaned for the health and safety of our school community

This has been a year without precedent At times when our future felt most uncertain, you stepped up to show your support And, for that we are truly grateful From deep in our hearts, we are so thankful for this community of amazing, strong people, who keep us going
