Editor’s Note

Hey Menzies,

Term 1 here at MQU is drawing to a close meaning that most people are working hard on assessments or studying for midterms. Even with deadlines looming over us, the Easter holidays are coming up soon to give everyone a break.

The past few weeks have seen several large college events go by. Holi festival was a great opportunity to throw chalk at our friends, Earth Hour was a chill evening to help us be aware of the power we use, and International Night gave us a chance to celebrate the different cultures at college while eating some incredible food.

End of term Ice-skating was a chance for everyone to get together before the end of term. I for one had a great time. This was my second go at ice-skating and I learnt a very important lesson from the first, which resulted in me wearing three pairs of socks. I recommend.

If you had any individual or group photos taken by us from any events that you would like a copy of, send us a message on facebook. Other than that the slow-mo videos from Holi should be up on Facebook soon.

Whether you’re going home to family, or staying here with friends, I hope everyone has a good break!
