Tuesday nights at RMC
Hey Menzies,
Uni has ofļ¬cially kicked into full swing as we move through week 4. Even as our uni work piles up around us, The Voice goes on (Weāre ļ¬lm majors its ļ¬ne). Even as uni work will continues to ļ¬ow in, college events will continue through the semester so keep an eye out for fun things to do during your study breaks. The past few weeks have seen our ļ¬rst formal dinner, block suppers, and even a karaoke night go past us.
The photos taken at Commencement dinner will be going up onto our Facebook page⦠eventually (read: when Susanna puts them there). The RAs and Exec put on a great night, and we all learnt a very important lesson, donāt put the photo area under the one broken light.
Karaoke night was a great time, if not a little loud.
We had a great time listening you all belting out your favourite songs, even from our place at the other side of C block.
We really enjoyed receiving all of your wiretaps from the past two weeks, I both want context and also really donāt.
Weāve heard through the grapevine of people considering writing their own pages. Even if you arenāt certain, feel free to send us a message. We want to make sure this is The Voice of RMC, not just the voice of bottom C.
CROSSROADS
Do you have big life questions? Are you thinking about how to live life to the full, or working out what you believe?
Crossroads is a get together for anyone interested in God, life, spirituality, and community.
Come for good hangs, snacks and some cheeky games. Most importantly, we open up the Bible together to see what it has to say to us about life, relationships, God, and faith.
Come and ask questions or just sit back and listen.
Crossroads is on each Tuesday of semester in S conference room 7-9pm
Ask your friendly Chaplaincy RAs for more informationDan Cornish, Rhea Lukose and Caleb Speer.

YES!! Be absolutely sure that just about everyone can beneļ¬t from seeing a Counsellor. And itās not just for when crisis strikes. It can make a huge difference to your College and Uni experience to make positive changes now, to prevent things spiralling out of control later, or to address pre-existing concerns.
Seeing our Counsellor, Meredith, is FREE to RMC students and staff. You can expect:
ā A warm and friendly approach in comfortable, private surrounds at RMC or via Zoom if necessary
ā A safe, non-judgemental and conļ¬dential space in which to talk about your concerns and receive support in helping you decide what you need
ā Respect for you, your values and beliefs, identity and background
ā To work as a team with Meredith to develop a āplan of attackā to address where you might be āstuckā and how to move forward
ā Help in a crisis, or over the longer term
ā Sessions to last usually around 50 minutes (but youāre also welcome to drop in if the door is open).
