CONTENTS

August has arrived in a haze of sunshine, ice creams and the familiar chorus of "I'm bored!" that echoes through households every school holiday. Whether you're escaping on a family adventure, hiding from another heatwave or simply making the most of a slower pace, we've packed this issue with plenty to keep you entertained. This month we've been putting some fantastic products through their paces, from the brilliantly supportive BabyBjörn Harmony baby carrier to the surprisingly capable FiiO Snowsky Disc, proving dedicated music players still have plenty to offer. We've also been protecting our eyes with GUNNAR's eye catching Alienware Bermuda Triangle and Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 gaming glasses, before cooling off in the best possible way with the wonderfully chaotic SpyraDash and feature packed SpyraFour. Back at home, the TCP 30L Dehumidifier has been quietly tackling the muggy conditions that often arrive alongside a British summer. As always, our aim is simple: honest reviews, useful advice and a healthy dose of enthusiasm for products that genuinely deserve your attention. So grab something cold to drink, find a shady spot in the garden if the weather allows, and enjoy this month's edition of The Review Smiths. Editor-in-Chief The Review Smiths

BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Camping used to involve accepting a few compromises. A flat phone, sparingly using the torch to save the batteries and the only source of music being that guy with the acoustic guitar and the three songs he knows. The BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 gives you the option of finding the perfect balance between enjoying the great outdoors but still being able to take advantage of some creature comforts. At its core sits a 2,073.6Wh LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, capable of powering everything from laptops and cameras to electric cool boxes and kitchen appliances, camp side smoothies anyone? The integrated pure sine wave inverter delivers 2,600W of continuous AC output, with Power Lifting Mode allowing it to handle resistive appliances rated at up to 3,900W. Despite packing serious capacity, the Elite 200 V2 remains relatively compact, measuring 350 × 250 × 323.6mm and weighing around 24.2kg. "Portable" is perhaps stretching things slightly, but the sturdy integrated handles make lifting it into a car boot perfectly manageable. Charging is flexible, AC input reaches up to 2,300W, allowing the battery to recharge from 0 to 80% in around one hour. It also accepts up to 1,000W of solar input via MPPT charging, alongside car charging and generator compatibility, making it equally suited to off grid adventures or emergency home backup. Connectivity is also generous, with two AC sockets, two 100W USB C Power Delivery ports, two USB A outputs and a 12V DC outlet, allowing you to charge up to 7 devices at once. Everything can be monitored and controlled through the BLUETTI app using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, allowing you to adjust settings or check battery status without hovering over the unit. The LiFePO4 battery chemistry is rated for over 6,000 charge cycles to 80% capacity, giving it an exceptionally long service life compared with traditional lithium ion alternatives. The cooling system is effective whilst ensuring fan noise rarely becomes intrusive under moderate use. It isn't inexpensive, and at over 24kg you're unlikely to carry it very far by hand. Even so, few portable power stations combine this level of performance, charging speed and longevity quite so efficiently. Whether it's powering a campsite, supporting a mobile office or providing peace of mind during unexpected blackouts, the BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 delivers dependable power without breaking a sweat.

Tozo Openwear I love running to music, but I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve jumped out of my skin when a cyclist or fellow runner has passed me by that I hadn’t heard approaching. Turns out I don’t need to ram earbuds deep into my ear canal to enjoy the added motivation that running to a good beat can bring. The Tozo from Openwear are open ear wireless headphones are designed for people who want to stay aware of the world around them, making them ideal for runners, cyclists and commuters. Rather than sitting inside the ear canal, the OpenWear uses an ergonomic ear hook design that rests comfortably around the ear while directing sound towards it. Each earbud weighs just around 11g, making them comfortable enough for long sessions. The dual access structure allows for independent adjustment both horizontally and vertically. Inside each earbud is a 16.2mm dynamic driver, delivering a surprisingly full sound considering the open design. Bass naturally can't compete with in ear audio, but vocals remain clear doing justice for podcasts, pop and everyday playlists. Bluetooth 5.4 provides a reliable connection with support for dual device pairing, while low latency performance keeps video and audio well synchronised. The battery life is good with the earbuds providing up to 8.5 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending total listening time to around 38 hours. A quick charge function provides approximately 2 hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging, making them particularly useful before heading out the door. With an IPX6 water resistance rating, the OpenWear copes happily with sweat and light rain, while touch controls allow you to select playback, calls and voice assistants without reaching for your phone. AI enhanced microphones with environmental noise reduction also deliver clear voice quality during calls, even outdoors. The open design means sound leakage is more noticeable at higher volumes, and if you're looking for deep, room shaking bass or active noise cancellation, you'll need to look elsewhere. However, for anyone after something that’s lightweight, practical and surprisingly enjoyable the TOZO OpenWear is well worth a look.

Comfortable, lightweight and ideal for active lifestyles, the TOZO OpenWear delivers enjoyable sound while keeping you aware of everything happening around you.

Dependable and reassuringly easy to use, the AstroAI B8 delivers powerful emergency jump starts while doubling as a practical power bank.

£49.99

Pros 2,000A peak current Starts up to 7.0L petrol and 5.5L diesel engines Compact and lightweight design 10 built in safety protections USB power bank and three mode LED torch Cons Best charged every few months when stored Power bank capacity is fairly modest No digital battery percentage display Designed for 12V vehicles only

AstroAI B8 Car Battery Booster Jump Starter Whilst you’re are getting your vehicle maintenance organised why not throw in a jump starter kit. I imagine most drivers have experienced that sinking feeling when the key turns and engine responds with a half-hearted click, it’s almost always when you are in a rush too. The AstroAI B8 Car Battery Booster Jump Starter is designed to turn those roadside panics into minor inconveniences. Despite weighing just around 330g, the B8 is still compact and can easily slip into a glovebox or door pocket without stealing too much space. Beneath the casing is a 29.6Wh (8,000mAh equivalent) lithium polymer battery, capable of delivering a 2,000A peak current. That's enough to jump start 12V petrol engines up to 7.0 litres and diesel engines up to 5.5 litres, covering the vast majority of family cars, SUVs and motorcycles. The intelligent jumper clamps feature 10 built in safety protections, including reverse polarity, reverse connection, short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage and spark proof protection, making it reassuringly beginner friendly. Unless you're actively trying to connect red to black, it's remarkably difficult to get wrong. The B8 also doubles as a handy emergency power bank. A USB A fast charging port can top up phones, tablets and other gadgets, while the integrated LED torch offers three lighting modes including constant beam, SOS and strobe. It recharges via USB C, taking roughly three hours to reach full capacity. As with any lithium jump starter, it's also worth topping it up every few months so it's ready when needed. For under £50, the AstroAI B8 really delivers, it is compact, easy to use and comes with bonus features, it's one of those things you hope you won’t need but will be so grateful it’s there if you do.

AstroAI L7 Car Tyre Inflator We all know we are meant to check our tyre pressure regularly, but it easily becomes one of those things you put off time and time again. However, its worth remembering that the right tyre pressure is critical for driver safety, tyre lifespan and fuel efficiency, something worth noting when fuel costs are horribly high right now. The AstroAI L7 Tyre Inflator could be a handy addition that earns its place in the boot by making tyre maintenance quick and painless. Despite measuring just 66 × 50 × 134mm and weighing 528g, the cordless L7 packs a punch with it’s built in 4,000mAh rechargeable battery powers a compressor capable of delivering up to 150 PSI with an airflow of 17L/ min. In real terms, that's enough to inflate a 195/65 R15 tyre from 30 to 36 PSI in under 1.5 minutes, making it far quicker than many compact inflators in its price range. Using it is super simple, there are four preset modes that cover cars, motorcycles, bicycles and even balls, alongside a fully custom mode that lets you select any pressure between 3 and 150 PSI. The large TRUEGAUGE digital display shows you the PSI, Bar, kPa and kg/cm². You literally cannot go wrong as the automatic shut off function prevents any accidental over inflation. AstroAI has also included several thoughtful extras. A built in LED light offers torch, SOS and strobe modes for roadside emergencies, while the USB C charging port and USB A output allow the inflator to double as a handy emergency power bank for your phone. Everything fits neatly into the supplied storage pouch, making it easy to keep in the car without creating yet more boot clutter. The compressor reaches around 80dB during operation, so it's hardly whisper quiet, and the battery will need recharging after repeated use. It's also intended for cars, motorcycles, bicycles and sports equipment rather than heavy duty truck or caravan tyres. For everyday motorists, though, the AstroAI L7 is an excellent little investment. Compact and easy to use, it's one of those tools that can easily integrate into car maintenances and make you feel superior to all your poorly inflated friends.

SOUNDPEATS Air6 HS

If you are after some everyday earphones, you don’t necessarily want to spend a huge amount on them. I have lost a few earbuds in my time so if I’m looking to distract myself at the gym with some music or join a team meeting in the office I tend to look for low budget options that can still deliver. The SOUNDPEATS Air6 HS seem to fall neatly into this category. Rather than trying to beat their premium rivals on every front, it focuses on delivering good sound quality and everyday comfort without emptying your bank account. Designed with a semi in ear fit similar to the classic AirPods, the Air6 HS sits comfortably in the ear without silicone tips disappearing into your ear canal. At just 4g per earbud, they're light enough to wear for hours without discomfort. Inside each earbud sits a 13mm Triple-Magnet Driver with Hi-Res LDAC. Support for LDAC allows compatible Android devices to stream audio at up to 990kbps, while Bluetooth 6.0 keeps connections stable and enables multipoint pairing, making it easy to swap between a laptop and smartphone without diving into Bluetooth menus every five minutes. The sound quality is spacious and well rounded, with clear mid and high tone, the bass is strong enough for everyday listening but the semi open ear design means you will inevitably lose some of that depth. They have an IPX5 rating so are protected against sweat and water resistance. The battery life is respectable, offering around nine hours from a single charge, extending to 45 hours with the charging case. A quick 10 minute charge provides roughly three hours of playback. The dual-mic ENC noise and AI Noise reduction helps single out your voice and reduce background noise to keep calls natural and clear, Of course, physics still has the final say. Without a sealed fit, bass lacks the thunder of traditional in ear models, and noise cancellation can't perform miracles. Neither should come as much of a surprise. For listeners who value comfort just as much as sound quality, the Air6 HS strikes an excellent balance. Lightweight, well equipped and remarkably polished for the price, these earbuds punch comfortably above their weight without pretending to be something they're not.

Comfortable, strong battery life and excellent value, the SOUNDPEATS Air6 HS delivers impressive wireless audio without trying to imitate far pricier earbuds.

Epomaker Nex Lite

PC gamers will happily spend hours debating keyboards, monitors and graphics cards. Yet it's the humble mouse that you interact with every second you're at your desk. Get it right and everything feels effortless. Get it wrong and even opening a spreadsheet becomes frustrating. Fortunately, the Epomaker Nex Lite makes a good first impression, pairing impressive performance with a handful of genuinely useful features that punch above its price. The first surprise is the dual OLED display. Both the mouse and its magnetic charging dock feature a dinky 0.54 inch OLED screen, displaying useful information such as battery level, DPI, connection mode and polling rate. It sounds like a gimmick but it quickly proves its worth by saving you from endlessly checking software or guessing how much battery remains. A PixArt PAW3311 optical sensor offers sensitivity from 400 to 12,000 DPI across six preset levels, backed by 300 IPS tracking speed and 35G acceleration. Whether you're carefully lining up a headshot or frantically escaping an ambush, movement feels consistently smooth and responsive. Wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes both support a 1,000Hz polling rate with 1ms latency, while Bluetooth runs at 125Hz for everyday use. Weighing just 65g, the right-handed ergonomic shell is comfortable and easy to move about. It's light enough for fast paced gaming sessions without feeling flimsy, and the shape works particularly well for claw and palm grip users. The fFive programmable buttons can be customised using Epomaker's online software, with settings stored directly on the mouse thanks to onboard memory. The included RGB magnetic charging dock keeps your desk tidy, houses the 2.4GHz receiver and makes charging easy. Inside, a 500mAh battery gives you up to 55 hours of use with the lighting and display disabled, or around 22 hours with everything illuminated. This sounds a lot but those hours can quickly become swallowed up when your deeply immersed. The ABS shell lacks the premium feel of magnesium or aluminium rivals, and left handed users are out of luck thanks to the ergonomic design. The software also feels less polished than dedicated desktop apps. Even so, it's difficult to argue with the value on offer. Fast and highly capable, we shouldn’t be too surprised when Epomaker’s keyboards also often punch well above their price range. The Nex Lite proves that an affordable gaming mouse doesn't have to feel like an entry level compromise.

Lightweight and responsive the Epomaker Nex Lite delivers impressive gaming performance without demanding a premium price tag.

Pros Lightweight 37.1g wraparound design Excellent peripheral vision Multiple lens tint options Premium G Shield Plus lens coating Adjustable nose pads for improved comfort Cons Bold styling won't suit every taste Non-prescription only Larger frame may overwhelm smaller faces For more information on the Gunnar Alienware Bermuda Triangle click here

Gunnar Alienware Bermuda Triangle It’s strange how eight hours in front of a screen can leave your eyes feeling as though they've completed a marathon. Add a few episodes of your favourite show, a late-night gaming session and an unhealthy amount of scrolling, and it's hardly surprising when it feels like you haven’t blinked in hours. That's exactly the problem GUNNAR is here to solve, and the Alienware Bermuda Triangle is one of their bolder attempts. Designed in collaboration with Alienware, these gaming glasses don't exactly try to blend into the background. The oversized wraparound shield lens and futuristic styling mean they wouldn’t look out of place in a sci-fi cockpit, but there's plenty of function behind the form. The single panoramic lens provides an uninterrupted field of view, while the lightweight polymer frame weighs just 37.1g, making it comfortable enough for lengthy gaming marathons or full working days. The adjustable nose pads help you get a secure fit, and that wide shield design offers generous peripheral coverage. The lenses are the main attraction here with GUNNAR's patented lens technology being available in two tints, Amber, which filters 65% of blue light at 450nm and Clear at 35% for users who need greater colour accuracy. Every version block 100% of UV light, while the G Shield Plus coating adds anti reflective, smudge resistant and scratch resistant properties that help keep the view crisp throughout the day. Dimensionally, the glasses feature a 140mm lens width, 55mm lens height, 136mm frame width and 125mm temples, giving them a broad fit that suits medium to larger faces particularly well. They also arrive with an exclusive Alienware microfibre cleaning cloth, padded storage pouch and a 12-month warranty. The styling won't appeal to everyone. These are glasses that make a statement rather than quietly disappearing on your face, and they're available only as non-prescription models. They're also a little pricier than many generic blue light glasses. For gamers, creators and anyone clocking serious screen time, though, the Bermuda Triangle offers more than flashy aesthetics. Comfortable, well-engineered and backed by genuine optical expertise, they're a convincing reminder that eye comfort deserves just as much attention as your keyboard, mouse or monitor.

Comfortable, distinctive and built for long screen sessions, the GUNNAR Alienware Bermuda Triangle combines striking design with genuinely useful eye protection.

Gunnar ZZZ Soldier 11 As we have learnt protective glasses don't have to whisper, "I'm sensible." In fact, we fully embrace products that are unapologetically different and want to stand out from the crowd. These protective glasses are inspired by Soldier 11 from Zenless Zone Zero, GUNNAR's latest collaboration pair unmistakable styling with the eye protection the company has built its reputation on. The first thing you'll notice is that striking single shield lens, rather than traditional twin lenses, the Soldier 11 uses one continuous panoramic lens inspired by tactical visors. This gives an wide field of view that's particularly handy when you're juggling multiple monitors or immersed in fast paced games. Despite the bold appearance, the frame tips the scales at just 34.9g, while flexible spring hinges help spread pressure evenly, making it comfortable through marathon gaming sessions or lengthy workdays. As with every GUNNAR model, the lenses do far more than look the part. The company's patented lens technology is available in two tints, Amber (blocking 65% of blue light at 450nm) and Sun (90%) depending on how much filtering and colour accuracy you need. Every option block 100% of UV light, while the G Shield Premium coating adds anti reflective, hydrophobic, oleophobic and smudge resistant layers to keep vision clear over throughout long screen sessions. These glasses measure up at 142mm lens width, 49mm lens height, 141mm frame width and 122mm temples, giving them a broad fit that suits medium to larger faces. Each pair also arrives with a themed collector's puffy pouch, Soldier 11 microfibre cleaning cloth and a 12 month warranty. Of course, this isn't a subtle design. If you'd rather your eyewear flew under the radar, this oversized visor look may prove a little too adventurous. The premium price also places it firmly in enthusiast territory. For everyone else, the Soldier 11 delivers exactly what an iconic gaming collaboration should. Beneath the anime inspired styling sits a genuinely useful pair of screen glasses that work just as hard as they look.

Bold, comfortable and packed with premium lens technology, the GUNNAR Soldier 11 protects your eyes while making an unmistakably stylish gaming statement.

Pros Dual CS43131 DACs deliver excellent sound quality

3.5mm and powerful 4.4mm balanced outputs Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC, Wi-Fi and AirPlay support USB DAC and coaxial digital output Compact, lightweight and beautifully designed Cons No internal storage Touchscreen can occasionally feel unresponsive No dedicated track skip buttons For more information on the FiiO Snowsky Disc click here

FiiO Snowsky Disc

There’s still a place on the market for portable music players, more than just those who love a vintage device. They deliver better quality of sound than smartphones, don’t get interrupted by notifications and calls and don’t drain away your phone’s battery. The FiiO Snowsky Disc has been designed with nods towards the iPod Nano and MiniDisc players of old, it looks nostalgic while bringing along all the modern features we are used to enjoying now. Measuring just 68 × 68 × 12.9mm and weighing a featherweight 77.2g, the Snowsky Disc slips easily into any pocket. On the inside is a pair of Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs driven by the Juno X2000 platform, producing a wonderfully clean and detailed sound that's impressive when you consider the price tag. The player offers both 3.5mm single ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, delivering up to 280mW per channel into 32Ω, giving it enough power for most IEMs and plenty of portable headphones. The 1.8 inch LCD touchscreen has a 360 × 360 resolution and adjustable display, while Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, built in Wi-Fi, AirPlay support and future Roon Ready compatibility ensure it isn't limited to wired listening. There's no internal storage, but the microSD slot accepts cards up to 2TB, giving obsessive FLAC collectors room to breathe. It also offers support for PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit, DSD128, USB DAC functionality and coaxial digital output. Battery life will give you up to 12 hours thanks to the built in 1450mAh battery, which is respectable given the size, although when used along with the balanced output and Bluetooth tends to fall a little short. The interface is generally quick and intuitive, though touchscreen responsiveness can occasionally be inconsistent, and the lack of dedicated track skip buttons may frustrate some users. For the money, however, the Snowsky Disc truly delivers. It sounds superb, feels robustly built and offers features normally reserved for considerably pricier players. Whether you're rediscovering a FLAC library or escaping the distractions of your smartphone, this tiny music player is a great little companion.

£86

Tiny yet remarkably capable, the FiiO Snowsky Disc blends nostalgic styling with high end sound quality and features that rival far more expensive music players.

Bjornbaby Baby Carrier Harmony

Parenting is essentially a never-ending juggling act. You need one arm to carry baby, one for the bag, one for the coffee you desperately need, one to answer the call from the health visitor, one for...wait a minute?! This is where baby carriers can really help a parent out, it won’t give you all the extra limbs you need but it’s a good start. The Harmony Baby Carrier from Bjornbaby is thoughtfully designed for both parent and baby, making it suitable for everything from supermarket trips, countryside walks or simply making a sandwich whilst baby naps. Designed for babies from 3.2kg to 15kg (approximately 7–33lbs) and 53–100cm in height, the Harmony can be used from birth without the need for an infant insert. It offers four carrying positions: newborn, facing in, facing out and back carrying, adapting as your little passenger grows. The transition between positions is straightforward, although you may need a little practice before making the switch with complete confidence. There are loads of short videos on their website to help you see exactly how to do it. The numerous adjustment straps can seem slightly intimidating at first. Fortunately, once everything is set up, everyday use becomes second nature. There are two materials to choose from the Woven mélange which is 100% recycled polyester, super-soft and dries quickly. The 3D mesh is 100% polyester, also super-soft and with more flexibility, it also offers more in the way of breathability, releasing excess heat, to help keep you and your baby cool. There’s a range of colours in both material choices too. Wide, padded shoulder straps combine with a generously cushioned waist belt and supportive lumbar pad to spread weight evenly across your back and hips, reducing the shoulder ache that cheaper carriers or narrower straps can often produce. The adjustable head support grows with baby, while the ergonomic seat allows your child to sit in the recommended M shaped position, supporting healthy hip development. The entire carrier has also been recognised as hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, providing extra reassurance for new parents. At around 892g, it's certainly not the lightest carrier available, but it folds relatively flat for storage and feels reassuringly robust. Better still, every fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 certified, meaning it's free from harmful substances and safe against delicate skin. It is also machine washable, a must have for anything that comes into contact with newborns and toddlers. This is a good choice for parents looking for one carrier that comfortably handles everything from the newborn stage to toddler adventures, the BabyBjörn Harmony is difficult to fault. Supportive, breathable and super comfortable for passanger and driver, it's an investment that won’t be regretted.

Supportive, breathable and exceptionally comfortable, the BabyBjörn Harmony is a premium baby carrier that makes everyday life easier for both parent and child. For more information on the Bjornbaby Baby Carrier Harmony click here

SpyraDash

It is water fight season! How can I tell? Every time I step into the back garden one of my kids throws a bucket of water at me, usually with the bucket included. At this point a water pistol could make for some excellent revenge. Spyra claims the SpyraDash is the world’s most powerful manual water pistol, that makes me feel much less guilty when blasting it at a screaming 8-year-old (it’s not suitable for those younger). Unlike battery powered water blasters, the SpyraDash keeps things wonderfully simple. There's no charging cable to lose, no batteries to flatten mid battle and no app demanding a firmware update before the fun can begin. Just dip the nozzle into water, pump to build pressure and you're ready to fire. Sometimes, old fashioned muscle power really is enough. Don't mistake "manual" for "basic", though. Using Spyra's patented SingleShot Technology, each pull of the trigger launches a concentrated 30ml blast, the result is a satisfyingly accurate shot with a maximum range of up to 9 metres, powered by an internal pressure of 2.4 bar. It feels less like soaking your opponent and more like scoring direct hits. A full 700ml tank provides 16 powerful shots before it's time to reload. Fortunately, refilling takes only seconds, whether you're using a garden tap, bucket or paddling pool. A transparent tank indicator also lets you see exactly how much water remains, removing the guesswork before launching one last heroic charge. At 1.5kg empty and 2.2kg filled, the SpyraDash isn't the lightest blaster around, but the textured grip keeps it comfortable during extended battles. Better still, the mechanical design means there's very little to go wrong, making it a refreshing alternative to electronic models that eventually need charging or battery replacements. The trade-off is capacity. Sixteen shots disappear surprisingly quickly if your aim resembles a garden sprinkler, and repeatedly pumping between reloads is naturally more work than using Spyra's electric models. Younger children may also find the weight a little tiring after prolonged use. The SpyraDash is a lot of fun, raising the game when it comes to water fight tactics without overcomplicating the experience. It's accurate, satisfying to use and a great way to cool down this summer.

Simple, accurate and ridiculously good fun, the SpyraDash delivers satisfying long range water battles without batteries.

£44.95 Pros Powerful 30ml SingleShot blasts 16 shots per tank Up to 9 metre range No batteries or charging required Durable mechanical design Quick and easy refilling Cons Only 16 shots per tank Heavier than many traditional water pistols Manual pumping between reloads

The SpyraFour takes things up a level with a 15m range, five blast modes and three games modes, although the price may put off some.

SpyraFour

The SpyraDash proved you don't need batteries to dominate a water fight. The SpyraFour, meanwhile, looks at its smaller sibling, nods approvingly, then turns the chaos up to 11. Bigger and smarter, it's unapologetically designed for those who take soaking friends and family very seriously. While both blasters use Spyra's clever SingleShot Technology, the SpyraFour swaps manual pumping for a rechargeable USB C powered electric system. Each press of the trigger fires a powerful burst of water with a range of up to 15 metres, giving it a significant advantage over both traditional water pistols and the more modestly ranged Dash. Accuracy is reliable, making every shot feel deliberate rather than hopeful. A hefty 900ml reservoir provides up to 28 shots before refilling. Fortunately, reloading is refreshingly quick. Dip the nozzle into a bucket, paddling pool or tap, press the reload button and the integrated pump refills the tank in around 12 seconds. One battery charge is rated for more than 2,500 shots, so you'll almost certainly run out of opponents before running out of power. It doesn't stop there, Spyra has equipped the Four with five Blast Modes including Open, Burst, Storm, Power and Rage, plus three Game Modes that introduce different ways to play. A bright 2 inch Infinity Dome display clearly shows your selected mode, battery level and remaining ammunition, adding an unexpectedly video game like feel to every battle. At 2.2kg when full, it asks a little more of your arms than the Dash, and its premium price firmly places it in enthusiast territory. Charging also takes around four to four and a half hours, so a little forward planning is required before the next family showdown. The game modes are also a lot more fun when you have more than on Four to play with. With increased fire power comes increased responsibly which means this blaster isn’t suitable for anyone under 14. The SpyraFour is a serious upgrade that is seriously entertaining, its less about having a casual water fight and more about living acting out your favourite action movie scene or video game.

Pros Up to 15 metre firing range Electric automatic refill in around 12 seconds Five Blast Modes and three Game Modes Bright 2 inch Infinity Dome display More than 2,500 shots per battery charge Cons Expensive Heavy when full Four hour plus recharge time Better suited to older children and adults More than one Four is best for the game modes

ddhifi Eryx 4.4mm Balanced Earphone Upgrade Cable — New Flagship The ddHiFi Eryx 4.4mm Balanced Earphone Upgrade Cable is one for the audiophiles, those who will always choose vinyl over mp3s and roll their eyes at Bluetooth open ear headphones. Whilst some will dismiss it as an expensive bit of wire, others will insist it's the missing link between your earphones and audio nirvana. Thankfully, whatever your stance, there's no denying this flagship cable is beautifully engineered. The Eryx is built from German OFC, gold-plated OCC, OCC and pure silver, arranged in a carefully designed hybrid configuration to maximise conductivity while minimising signal loss. Each conductor uses a multi stranded Litz structure, helping reduce oxidation over time and improving long term durability. The cable is terminated with a 4.4mm balanced Pentaconn connector, making it ideal for pairing with premium digital audio players and balanced headphone amplifiers. Despite its robust construction, the Eryx remains surprisingly supple. The soft translucent insulation resists tangling and drapes naturally without springing back into impossible shapes. It also avoids the dreaded cable memory that can make some high-end cables feel like they're actively plotting against you. ddHiFi's precision machined titanium alloy parts and red sandalwood gives the cable a reassuringly premium feel, while high quality 0.78mm 2 pin connectors ensure compatibility with a huge range of modern in ear monitors. Build quality is impeccable throughout, with every component feeling thoughtfully designed and avoiding flashy gimmicks. As for the listening experience, the Eryx focuses more on refinement than dramatic transformation. Paired with capable earphones and a balanced source, it presents music with excellent clarity, a spacious soundstage and superb channel separation. Whether those improvements justify the price will inevitably depend on both your equipment and your ears, but there's no doubting the craftsmanship. The cost means this is firmly aimed at enthusiasts rather than casual listeners, and it won't magically transform budget earphones into high-end performers. You'll also need a device with a 4.4mm balanced output to use it. For dedicated audiophiles, however, the ddHiFi Eryx is a genuinely luxurious upgrade. Beautifully made, wonderfully comfortable and engineered to an exceptionally high standard, it's the sort of cable that's likely to outlast several pairs of earphones.

Zhiyun Pocket Light M60 Ultra delivers accurate lighting and excellent versatility for creators on the move.

INIU SnapGo P73 Qi2 15W Magnetic Slim Power Bank

Pocket sized lighting can only get you so far but for more accurate control of the lighting environment you are going to need something bigger. The Zhiyun Pocket Light M60 Ultra deliver quite the punch despite weighing just 430g, handy for content creators or photographers who'd rather not rely on Britain's famously reliable natural lighting. The M60 Ultra delivers up to a max output of around 60W, that’s 6490Lux. With a colour temperature range of 2700K to 1000K and a high CRI of 95+ and TLCI of 98+, colours appear natural and accurate whether you're filming indoors or outdoors. Brightness, colour temperature and effects are all adjusted via intuitive onboard control or (most but not all) through Zhiyun's companion app using Bluetooth connectivity. It’s built in 4500mAh battery provides up to 160 minutes runtime depending on brightness settings, however with the light output at its max it will be dramatically reduced to around 30 minutes. The USB C power delivery allows both fast charging and continuous operation from a power bank or a mains adapter. The integrated cooling system keeps temperatures under control without sounding like a hairdryer. Zhiyun also includes magnetic mounting, a Honeycomb Grid and Magnetic Diffuser, a standard quarter inch thread and compatibility with its ZY mount light modifiers. It has mesh compatibility allow you to link up multiple lights and control them all from the same app. At just 100 x 71 x 30mm, it slips easily into a camera bag or even a jacket pocket. Its biggest limitation is simply physics. While remarkably bright for its size, it cannot quite replace a full-sized studio light but it’s not trying to replace that. Nevertheless, the M60 Ultra gets the balance right between portability, performance and versatility. Whether you're filming YouTube videos, capturing portraits or adding a more professional look to your social content, this little light proves that good things really do come in small packages.
