IsTOrage dIskashur PrO3 ssd 2TB
We are definitely familiar with iStorage and security is at the heart of every product, the diskAshur PRO3 SSD 2TB is no different. This robust and highly secure portable solid-state drive has been designed to safeguard sensitive data. Combining military-grade encryption but with user-friendly features, it is ideal for professionals and organisations top levels of data protection.
The outer body is made from a tamper-proof epoxy shell, the diskAshur PRO3 is engineered to resist physical intrusion attempts. Its dimensions are 131mm x 83mm x 20.8mm, and it weighs approximately 257 grams, making it portable without compromising durability. The device is IP56 certified, offering protection against dust and water.
The diskAshur PRO3 has FIPS PUB 197 validated (pending the new FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validation) AES-XTS 256bit hardware encryption, providing real-time full-disk encryption. Users can set up PINs ranging from 8 to 64 digits via the wear-resistant, epoxy-coated keypad, which is designed to prevent key usage detection. The drive includes a brute-force hack defence mechanism: after 10 consecutive incorrect user PIN entries, the user PIN is deleted, and only the admin PIN can unlock the drive. If the admin PIN is also entered incorrectly 10 times, all data is permanently erased forever.
The diskAshur PRO3 SSD delivers read/write speeds of 450MB/s. While these speeds are slightly lower than some non-encrypted SSDs, they are impressive when you consider the encryption processes involved. The drive is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome, Android, and virtual environments like Citrix and VMware, requiring no additional software for operation.
There is even a 007 style self-destruct PIN feature, which, when activated, deletes all data and PINs, rendering the information irretrievable. It has an unattended auto-lock, automatically locking the drive after a set period of inactivity. It comes with both a USB Type-C and Type-A cables for versatility.
The iStorage diskAshur PRO3 SSD 2TB is an obvious choice for those prioritising data security. Its combination of robust encryption, physical durability, and thoughtful features like the self-destruct PIN and auto-lock function make it a reliable companion for professionals handling sensitive information. While it may come at a higher price point compared to standard SSDs, this is not a standard SSD, it is the fort knox of SSDs.

As soon as I saw this mouse I was transported back to the 90’s when our family first got a computer, it is giving serious vintage vibes. If you’re the kind of person who cares as much about aesthetics as performance, the Lofree Touch Mouse might just be your new favourite desk companion. Let’s start with what makes it stand out, instead of the traditional plastic clickers, this mouse features PBT keycaps on the left and right buttons. If you’re a mechanical keyboard lover, this is basically a dream come true. The tactile feedback feels a lot like pressing a high-quality key switch, and honestly, it’s super satisfying. It even uses mechanical switches underneath, giving every click a nice, audible “snap.”
On the tech side, the Lofree Touch comes with a PAW3805 sensor, which offers solid tracking even on glass and uneven surfaces. Two DPI setting modes allow for a sensitivity rate as low as 200 DPI and as high as 4000 DPI, all without the use of software. Your chosen setting will be displayed on the little screen. The touch panel on top replaces the scroll wheel, allowing you to swipe up, down, or sideways to scroll. It’s surprisingly intuitive once you get used to it. Connectivity is another win. You get triple-mode support: Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4GHz wireless (with a USB dongle), and USB-C wired, making it compatible with pretty much everything—Mac, Windows, tablets, you name it. Battery life holds up well, giving around 4 weeks on a full charge, and you can keep using it while it charges. If I had to nitpick, it’s not the most ergonomic for larger hands, and the touch panel might take some getting used to. But overall, if you’re looking for a mouse that’s as much a conversation starter as it is a reliable daily driver, the Lofree Touch is a super fun choice.

The last time my tyre pressure warning light came on I panicked and called my dad, I’m nearly 40 and I still felt like I needed an “adult” to help. I’ve since learnt having a pump in the car for emergencies is probably a good idea.
The AstroAI Multifunctional Air Compressor Heavy Duty Pump seemed a good bet due to the solid construction. It’s a heavy-duty unit with a metal body that looks and feels durable, it’s not one of those flimsy plastic ones, it can handle a few bumps in the boot. It can pump up to 160 PSI, which covers most car tyres, bikes, motorbikes, and even things like inflatable kayaks or sports gear.
It has a 40mm cylinder, it inflates tyres noticeably quicker than standard pumps. AstroAI claims it can inflate a 195/65 R15 tyre from 0 to 35 PSI in under 5 minutes, and in my testing, it was right on the money.
The digital display is bright, easy to read, and accurate, showing real-time pressure in PSI, BAR, KPA, or kg/cm². The auto shut off is also handy, allowing you to set your target pressure, and it stops inflating once it hits the mark. It stops me from worrying I’m going to over inflate it like a cartoon and burst the tyre.
It connects via a 12V car socket, which is standard for most pumps, and comes with a 4.5m power cable and a 60cm air hose, giving you plenty of room to reach all four tyres. It can also be plugged into the mains, and it has a built in battery for multiple options. It has an emergency flash light and also comes with extra nozzles for balls and inflatables, making it super versatile.
My only minor gripe is that it’s a bit bulky compared to smaller models, but that’s the trade-off for its power and durability. It also gets a little loud, though that’s to be expected with most compressors.
All in all, the AstroAI Multifunctional Air Compressor is reliable, fast, and easy to use—perfect for anyone who wants peace of mind on the road or a handy tool at home. It’s given my old man peace of mind I won’t be calling the next time I need to top up tyre pressure.

With so much of our lives involving our phones it can be easy to drain the battery in half a day, but having cables and battery packs hanging out of your pocket just isn’t a look. The clever thing about the SnapGo P73-E1 is that it can be snapped into place, and you can just forget about it. The 10,000mAh capacity is more than enough to get you through a busy day or even a weekend away without needing to hunt down a plug socket. It charges the phone wirelessly using the new Qi2 standard, which basically means it’s fast and efficient. The phone snaps into place magnetically and lines up easily every time and starts charging instantly—no fiddling or guesswork involved. It has a pretty slim design so it doesn’t become too bulky when charging, it will still slide easily into a bag or even a jacket pocket. Despite being light and portable, it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. The build quality is solid, and the matte finish means it doesn’t pick up fingerprints or scratches
too easily. There’s also a built-in kickstand, which is a clever little touch—perfect for watching videos while the phone charges.
Wired charging is also an option, it can push out up to 30W, so that can be used to top up your tablet and even give your laptop a boost in a pinch. And when it comes to recharging the power bank itself, it’s surprisingly quick, around a couple of hours and it’s good to go again. There’s something very satisfying about how seamless it all feels. Whether you end up using wireless or wired charging, it just works—and quickly. Designed to be taken along on commutes, overnight trips, and even just kept it in your car or coat for emergencies. If you’re after a portable, well-designed wireless charger that doesn’t cut corners on speed or functionality, the INIU SnapGo is well worth a look.

I love sharing outdoor adventures with friends and family, but I don’t want to interrupt a tranquil moment paddleboarding on the Broads by shouting up the river that I need to stop for a wee. That’s why my first impression of the Sena Talkie was: what a brilliant idea. If you’ve ever found yourself calling across a campsite, cycling in a group, or trying to coordinate a hike with patchy phone signal, you’ll know how frustrating it can be to stay in touch.
The Sena Talkie is a simple, compact communication device that brings back the old-school walkie-talkie feel, but with a modern touch. No screens, no pings or notifications, just instant, real-time communication when you actually need it.
I was genuinely impressed by how easy it is to use. The design is compact and lightweight (with customisable face plates), yet tough enough to take a beating. It has an IPX7 weather rating, making it ideal for the waves, the slopes, and everywhere in between. And if it happens to take a dip, no panic—it floats. It clips easily to a bag strap or belt, and the three large buttons are easy to use even with gloves on, which is a huge bonus when you’re outdoors.
In terms of functionality, the range is solid with up to 0.4 miles in open areas. It can drop slightly in forests or builtup locations, but for line-of-sight communication while walking, camping, cycling or navigating a busy festival crowd, it’s more than enough. The audio quality is impressively clear, even in windy conditions, thanks to Advanced Noise Control. There’s barely any delay—just press the button and talk. It also includes Proximity Mute, which stops any echo when you’re close to other users.
What I like most is how stress-free it is. No apps, no pairing issues, no faff. The battery life is brilliant too, with up to 15 hours of talk time, meaning it can easily last a whole weekend on a single charge. It’s not aiming to be a high-spec radio. There’s no screen, and it’s designed for small groups of up to four devices. But that’s what makes it charming. There is an optional app for channel selection and firmware updates, but the plug-andplay simplicity is where it really shines.
For hassle-free, reliable communication in the great outdoors, the Sena Talkie is a brilliant bit of kit.

I’ve spoken before about living in the countryside, it comes with and endless list of perks but what it doesn’t come with is streetlights. In the heart of winter I’m not exaggerating when I say it can be pitch black by 4pm so its unsurprising that we have a flashlight that lives by every door. So, I am always excited to check out a flashlight and the Wautton EDC Titanium Alloy Mini Flashlight is up there with some dinkiest we have seen.
Crafted from titanium alloy, this flashlight is not only lightweight but also super robust, making it an ideal piece of everyday carry. The titanium alloy construction gives the flashlight a sleek, modern appearance while ensuring it can withstand the rigours of daily use. Its compact size (50mm by 15mm) allows it to fit comfortably in your pocket or attach to a keychain without adding bulk. We received the multicoloured version but its also available in silver. Despite its small stature, the flashlight delivers impressive brightness. The LED can kick out 90 lumens up to 15 meters, there is also a softer light option which produces 10 lumens and will give you 6hours of battery life. Charging the flashlight is super simple you untwist at the centre and the USB C port is revealed, no specialist chargers required and more importantly the flashlight remains intact so there’s no risk of losing any part of this little torch. Operating the flashlight is equally straightforward, simply twist it to turn it on, change the brightness and turn it off. This user-friendly design ensures quick access to light when you need it most, without fiddling about for tiny buttons. Weighing just a few grams and measuring only a few centimetres in length, the Wautton Mini Flashlight is effortlessly portable. It can be easily attached to your keyring, slipped into a pocket, or stored in a bag, and even comes with a little chain you can wear around your neck.
The Wautton EDC Titanium Alloy Mini Flashlight is exactly what it needs to be, nothing more, nothing less. It is tough, bright, compact and easy to use.
MOBOT graCe 27Oz
I hate carrying loads of gear to the gym. Often the lockers are all full, and if I lug too much stuff around from station to station, I’m guaranteed to lose something. So, the fact that the Grace water bottle from MOBOT doubles up as a foam roller is a pretty interesting concept. Sure, my gym has foam rollers lying around, but I’m not keen on taking a turn after someone’s rubbed their sweaty inner thigh all over it.
The bottle holds 27oz (around 800ml), which is a decent amount for staying hydrated through a workout or a busy day. It’s made from stainless steel, so your water stays cool for hours, and the wide mouth makes it easy to chuck in ice cubes or give it a proper clean—although I did find it didn’t keep the water ice-cold for very long. The lid’s leak-proof too, so you can toss it in your bag without worrying about soggy notebooks.
But that could describe any old bottle. What sets this one apart is the firm, patterned foam wrapped around it, which has just the right density for rolling out tight muscles. It’s especially handy after a run or gym session, and since it’s built around the bottle, it saves space in your kit bag. Granted, it’s not as big as a standard foam roller, so it won’t replace one entirely—but it’s a decent option when you're travelling or at the gym.
Design-wise, the Mobot Grace looks good and comes in a variety of colours, so there’s probably one that suits your vibe. It’s not the lightest bottle out there, but considering it’s doing double duty, that’s fair enough.
All in all, the Mobot Grace 27oz is an interesting idea. The size means it won’t suit everyone as a foam roller, and without that feature, it’s just a rather pricey and bulky water bottle. But if you’re into fitness and like your gear to multitask, it’s worth checking out—and it makes a cool gift for gym bunnies.

There’s something about watching films on a plane that just hits different. Maybe it’s being 30,000 feet in the air, or the lack of distractions from our phones, but it always feels more immersive. What’s not quite so nice is the grim thought of using the airline’s wired headphones – it’s hard not to wonder how many ears they’ve already been in. That’s where the Avantree Sky Infinity NC steps in, bridging the gap and letting you enjoy in-flight entertainment with your own wireless noise-cancelling earbuds.
This clever kit includes not one, but two pairs of wireless earbuds and a Bluetooth transmitter designed specifically for use on planes. That means you and your travel companion can both connect to the same screen – whether it's your own device or the in-flight entertainment system (if you get the timing right). The earbuds come housed in a smart swivelling charging case that holds both pairs securely. It’s perfect for long journeys, as you can use one pair while the other charges.
In terms of comfort, they’re lightweight and come with multiple ear tip sizes, so you can find the right fit for extended wear. The hybrid Active Noise Cancellation is also impressive – cutting out up to 98.6% of background noise (up to 49dB), helping you truly sink into your film or playlist. Or, if you prefer to stay alert to announcements or meal service, the Transparency Mode brings in ambient sound when needed.
Audio quality is crisp and well-balanced, thanks to the 13mm drivers. The buds support LE Audio and come with customisable EQ settings too, so you can tweak the sound to your liking. The Bluetooth transmitter connects to the plane’s audio via the 3.5mm jack and supports aptX-Adaptive for minimal delay – meaning you can enjoy perfectly synced audio and video.
Battery life is solid: 8 hours per pair of earbuds, extended to 48 hours with the charging case, and 22 hours from the transmitter. It’s a great all-in-one travel audio solution for couples or solo flyers who value sound quality and comfort over scratchy airline freebies.

When it comes to working out it just isn’t happening if I haven’t got some music or a podcast in my ears. It is like I must distract my mind to let my body exercise because if it notices it will find a convincing reason to stop! The Epic Sport ANC 3 from Jlab have been designed with active lifestyles in mind, these buds come packed with features that makes them suited for the gym, running, or just day-to-day listening on the go.
As the name suggests they feature active noise cancellation (ANC), which works surprisingly well for the price. It won’t completely silence the world around you, but it takes the edge off background chatter and gym noise, which is really all you need when you’re working out. There’s also a Be Aware mode, which is handy for outdoor runs when you still need to hear traffic or announcements.
With flexible ear hooks and multiple gel ear tips included, they stay secure even during more intense workouts. They’re also IP66 rated, meaning they’re sweatproof and resistant to dust—ideal for sporty use or unpredictable British weather.
Battery life is solid, you’ll get up to 12 hours of playtime from the earbuds themselves, with an additional power from the charging case you get over 52 hours in total. That’s more than enough to get you through a week of workouts without constantly having to top them up.
Sound-wise, the Epic Sport ANC 3 delivers decent audio with customisable EQ settings via the JLab app that genuinely make a difference. You won’t get audiophile detailed quality, but for pop, podcasts, and general use, they do the job well.
If there’s a downside, it’s the size of the charging case—it’s a bit chunky for slipping into a pocket. While the ANC is decent, it won’t rival premium options and I also found the touch control could be a little over sensitive at times. Still, for the price, the JLab Epic Sport ANC 3 offers excellent value. With good sound, strong battery life, sweatproof durability and a secure fit, they’re a top choice for anyone after reliable wireless earbuds for an active lifestyle.

The Walsh brand was founded by Norman Walsh and is still handcrafted in Bolton. Originally, Walsh began his career working for the family behind Reebok before branching out on his own. To this day, Walsh remains a proudly British brand—and the heritage really shines through in their shoes.
Visually, the European Red has timeless style. The bold red upper gives it real presence, and the mix of suede and mesh panels adds a nice bit of texture. It’s got a proper retro vibe, but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The Walsh logo branding on the heel and the Union Jack on the side and tongue add a touch of old-school charm you won’t find with most mass-produced trainers.
Comfort-wise, the European Red is great for everyday wear. The fit is snug but not restrictive, with decent cushioning underfoot and just enough support for walking around town, running errands, or spending a day on your feet. The sole offers good grip for a lifestyle shoe—ideal for city pavements or light countryside strolls—and they’re lightweight enough to wear all day without feeling clunky.
What’s especially nice is the craftsmanship. There’s a real sense of quality here, from the stitching to the materials used. Each pair feels like it’s been made with care, which makes a refreshing change from the mass-produced feel of many mainstream trainers.
That said, they’re probably not the best pick for bad weather—the mesh panels mean your feet might get a bit damp in a downpour. And the fit can be a little snug, so you might want to size up if you’re between sizes.
All in all, the Walsh Sports European Red is a cracking choice if you’re after something unique, comfortable, and proudly British. It’s a proper lifestyle trainer that delivers both style and substance—perfect for anyone looking to step away from the usual suspects.

Tracklements NEW Special Edition Pineapple & Chilli Relish is a beautiful combo of sweet and tangy, with a tropical kick. Reminiscent of a mango chutney, but with more sweetness and spice, the natural sugars of the pineapple balance the spice of the chilli, ginger and mustard seed, while a touch of cider vinegar simply elevates the flavour. The result pairs perfectly with grilled pork, chicken and fish, does something rather magical to a creamy brie or goats’ cheese and makes a lip-smacking addition to rice bowls and stir fries. And let’s not forget how it transforms a humble sandwich, wrap, pork pie and burger. Swoon …
Tracklements Special Edition Pineapple & Chilli Relish also makes a terrific fruity (and a bit fiery) marinade as the pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which tenderizes meat such as chicken and pork, so it absorbs the

The Dome Lite 2 offers both pan (355°) and tilt (95°) capabilities, you can control the camera angle remotely via the app, which is great for scanning the entire room without blind spots. The 2K resolution video quality is sharp, and the image stays clear even when zooming in digitally.
The 8 infrared LEDs beads with IR-cut filter provide decent night vision that kicks in automatically and gives a crisp black-and-white image in low light. There's also motion and sound detection, which sends alerts straight to your phone. You can adjust the sensitivity, which helps avoid unnecessary notifications, triggered by your pets for example. It supports both cloud storage and microSD cards (up to 128GB), the cloud service is optional, but it does offer AI features like human detection and facial recognition if you're into that kind of thing. There is two-way audio so you can check in with family members, including the furry ones. The speaker and mic are clear enough for quick chats or warnings if needed, it’s not something I use a ton but, it’s good to have.
The 24-hour loop recording lets you check 24-hour video history. You can access more features including extended storage from $4.99 with the options of adding additional cameras to your plan. You can also link it up to Google Home or Alexa for hands free control. The build quality feels decent for the price point, and the camera itself has a clean, modern design, it is still quite obviously a camera, but it doesn’t look too out of place in a living room or office. Overall, the Blurams Dome Lite 2 is a functional little camera that’s easy to use and comes in at a budget friendly price, there are optional extras with subscription but it’s completely usable without. It’s not going to replace a high-end security setup, but for general home monitoring, it’s a solid pick that does the job well.
ThINk TaNk BaCkLIghT 18L
If you’re a serious photographer out in the field, you need a strong and reliable way to transport your gear. The Think Tank Backlight 18L is a camera bag that effortlessly incorporates all the features needed to keep your equipment safe and close to hand. It’s compact, practical, and built with real-world use in mind.
With an 18-litre capacity, it’s not too bulky but offers just enough room for a solid selection of gear. You can comfortably fit two standard-sized camera bodies with lenses attached, along with one to three standard zoom lenses. The maximum lens size it can accommodate is a 300mm f/2.8 or a 150–600mm f/5–6.3 attached to a body. It also fits up to a 13” laptop and a 10” tablet, with space in the 5L front compartments for personal items, plus two to three additional lenses or even a small drone setup.
The rear-panel access to the main compartment makes it easy to grab your camera quickly. You can swing the bag around to the front, unzip the back panel, and reach your gear without ever setting it down – a real lifesaver when you’re faced with the perfect shot in muddy or rocky terrain.
Comfort-wise, it’s a winner. The contoured shoulder straps, adjustable sternum strap, and removable padded waist belt distribute the weight evenly, even on longer treks. The breathable back panel also helps when you’re working up a sweat.
Build quality is top-notch, as you'd expect from Think Tank. The exterior is made of high-density nylon with a durable water-repellent coating, and a seam-sealed rain cover is included – always appreciated in the UK. There are plenty of external attachment points, stretchy side pockets for water bottles or tripods, and even a handy organiser pocket at the front for batteries, memory cards, or snacks.
All in all, the Backlight 18L is a fantastic daypack for photographers who need a balance of access, comfort, and protection. It’s compact enough for daily use, but tough enough for the outdoors – a proper all-rounder that punches well above its weight.

C-MONsTa MINI sPLIT Bag
Here’s one for the beach bums and water sports fans. The C-Monsta Mini Split Bag has been designed with both functionality and sustainability in mind. This 30-litre bag is perfect for organising your kit, whether you're heading out for a paddle, a picnic, or a day at the beach. It measures up at 38 cm (L), 24 cm (W), 36 cm (H) and weighs 1.4 kg.
This handy bag has been created with a dual-compartment design. This allows you to keep wet and dry items separate whilst ensuring water doesn’t leak onto the outside of the bag either. My go to for a long time has been to reuse a shopping bag (all though those airholes at the base and leak water) or if I’m feeling extra glamorous, a bin bag! Each compartment includes a double waterproof pocket—one in orange and the other in black—making it easy to differentiate between the two sides.
Carrying the bag is comfortable, thanks to its soft fabric carry handles and the padded shoulder strap. The reinforced base adds to its durability and can handle being popped down on rough terrain. Adjustable straps with orange buckles help keep the bag's contents secure during transport and allows the bag to be flattened for easy storage when not in use.
In line with C-Monsta's commitment to the environment, the Mini Split Bag is made from recycled plastic fabric and comes in recycled packaging. This eco-conscious approach means you can feel good about your purchase, knowing it's contributing to reducing waste instead of adding to it.
The C-Monsta Mini Split Bag is a well-designed, durable, and environmentally friendly option for anyone needing to organise and transport their gear, including articles. Its thoughtful features and sturdy construction makes it a great choice for those who love outdoor activities and aren’t afraid to get a little wet and mucky in the process.
LOOP dreaM
I’ve always been a light sleeper but since having my children it’s definitely become worse, any nice has me bolt upright even though both children have slept through the night for over a year. I’m already an owner of two sets of Loop earplugs and Dream completes my collection. The Dreams have been designed specifically for sleep and aim to provide comfort and effective noise reduction throughout the night.
The earplugs have been tailored for side sleepers and feature a super low-profile that sits flush against the ear, minimizing discomfort when your head is on the pillow. They come with four different sizes of oval-shaped ear tips made from a hybrid of memory foam and silicone, ensuring a snug fit that conforms to the natural shape of your ear canal. This combination not only ensures a precise seal but also reduces pressure, making them suitable for extended wear overnight.
With a noise reduction rating of 27 decibels (SNR), the Loop Dream earplugs effectively muffle common disturbances such as snoring, traffic, and other ambient sounds. While they don't block out noise entirely, they significantly diminish it, allowing for a more restful sleep without completely isolating you from important alerts like alarms or baby monitors.
These earplugs are reusable and built to last, offering up to 100 nights of use per set of ear tips. They come with a compact, non-slip carrying case, making them convenient for both home use and travel.
Priced at approximately £45, the Loop Dream earplugs are an investment compared to disposable alternatives. However, their durability and comfort may justify the cost for those seeking a long-term solution.
The Loop Dream earplugs offer a blend of comfort and effective noise reduction, without completely blocking out your environment. Their design caters especially to side sleepers, and the quality materials used ensure durability. While they come at a higher price point, the potential improvement in sleep quality may make them a valuable addition to your nighttime routine, as I am already a Loop convert, it was a no brainer for me.

If you're on the hunt for a lightweight, no-nonsense windproof jacket that won’t weigh you down, the Compressport Hurricane Windproof Jacket might just be your new best mate. Weighing in at a mere 100 grams, this insanely light layer has been designed for those who refuse to let blustery conditions interfere with their outdoor pursuits… or need to remove it as a potential excuse.
Fit-wise, the Hurricane is tailored to provide a second-skin feel, eliminating any bothersome flapping. Its 4-way stretch construction allows full freedom of movement, and it can even accommodate a trail pack underneath. The fulllength, self-locking zip can be opened for extra breathability when things get a bit toasty. A handy chest pocket keeps essentials close and also doubles as the jacket’s own stuff sack for compact storage.
The jacket’s front panels and arms are crafted from Tafta fabric, offering solid protection against wind and cold. Meanwhile, the back and sleeves feature Compressport’s On/Off technology, which cleverly mimics alveoli (remember those from school biology?) that open to maximise breathability. This smart ventilation system keeps your base layers dry and comfortable, even during high-intensity efforts.
Although primarily designed to fend off the wind, the jacket also offers moderate water resistance, so you can’t blame a bit of drizzle for skipping a session. The long-cut sleeves, high neck, and slightly extended rear hem all provide extra coverage and warmth where it counts. Reflective detailing on the front, back, and wrists helps keep you visible in lowlight conditions, making it great for early morning or evening outings.
The Compressport Hurricane Windproof Jacket is a cracking choice for running, hiking, cycling, or any outdoor activity where weight and breathability matter. It’s incredibly light, highly packable, and performs brilliantly in windy and unpredictable conditions. Whether you’re out for a training day or lining up on race day, it’s a versatile bit of kit that you’ll be glad to have in your wardrobe. Quite simply, a no-brainer investment for anyone who takes their outdoor adventures seriously.

sPOke MOLeskIN fIves
We are already a fan of how Spoke recognise that human bodies come in a diverse range of shapes and sizes, it isn’t a case that longer legs automatically means a larger waist size for example. The Moleskin Fives are no different and comes in over 300 size combinations to ensure the perfect fit for all the bodies out there. The size options include waist measurements from 28 to 46 inches, three build options (A: narrow thighs, B: regular thighs, C: wide thighs), and leg lengths from 28 to 37 inches.
These Moleskin Fives are crafted from 97% cotton and 3% elastane, providing a soft yet robust fabric with a hint of stretch for ease of movement, they have a naturally slimmer fit (not to be mistaken with skinny) and a mid-rise waist. The moleskin material offers a luxurious feel while ensuring resilience which means you don’t feel worried about them getting messed up in normal day to day wear.
The Moleskin Fives are designed with a classic five-pocket style, reminiscent of traditional jeans, they have half-moon pockets at the front, patch pockets at the rear, and a classic shank button fly.
The inclusion of 3% elastane in the fabric composition allows for a comfortable stretch, making these trousers suitable for both casual outings and more active pursuits, like chasing a toddler before they can get involved with a large muddy puddle. Moleskin fabric is known for its warmth, making the Moleskin Fives an excellent choice for cooler seasons. So, it seems fitting they are available in a selection of rich autumnal colours such as Dark Navy, Teal, Mulberry, Tempest, Pondlife (love this name), Olive, and Maroon. The Spoke Moleskin Fives offer a harmonious blend of style, comfort, and durability, their casual jean styling makes them versatile enough to dress up with a blazer or down with a simple t-shirt, an essential staple for your wardrobe.

If you’re new to running, buying your first pair of running shoes can be a bit overwhelming. With so many different gait styles, terrain types, and brands promising all sorts, it’s tricky to know where to start. So, before you dive in and break the bank, it’s worth considering the KIPRUN Cushion 500 from Decathlon. Starting with comfort, the Cushion 500 lives up to its name. The MFOAM sole has been designed to absorb shock and reduce impact, and there are soft foam inserts in both the tongue and heel. The upper has an ergonomic fit and a comfortable lacing system – all of which create a flexible and cushioned running feel while still providing some responsiveness to help with each step.
Another plus is the breathability. The mesh upper is lightweight and well-ventilated, which helps keep things cool and dry on warmer days. The fit feels secure around the midfoot, with a bit of give in the toe box – just right for a comfortable yet locked-in feel. They’re true to size too, so there’s no guesswork needed. In terms of durability, the outsole is reinforced in high-wear areas and offers decent grip, especially on pavements and dry trails. They’re also surprisingly light – at around 264g, they won’t weigh you down on tempo runs or longer distances.
Now, they’re not racing flats, and if you’re after super-speedy turnover or ultra-minimalist shoes, these won’t quite hit the mark. If you’re running multiple times a week, they might struggle to keep up with you, and if it rains… well, your feet will get wet. But for beginners and casual runners looking for neutral road runners, they tick a lot of boxes. At under £50, the KIPRUN Cushion 500 punches well above its weight. Reliable, comfy, and durable – a strong choice for those just starting out.

I was out running tonight in the evening sun with my favourite playlist, and it was beautiful, but it would have been significantly less enjoyable if all I could hear was my own wheezing. The downside was an ungraceful launch (not that my running is ever graceful) into a hedge to avoid a speeding car down a country lane. That’s why the OpenRun Pro 2 from Shokz are a brilliant tool to let you enjoy your tunes but always remain fully aware of your surroundings. These are bone conduction headphones, and while the tech isn’t brand new, Shokz has really refined it here and the Pro 2s are probably the best it’s ever sounded.
Unlike traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones, the OpenRun Pro 2 sits just in front of your ears and uses vibrations to deliver sound through your cheekbones. Sounds a bit sci-fi, but it actually works—and crucially, it leaves your ears completely open to hear what’s going on around you. For outdoor workouts, dog walks, or even just feeling safer when you're out and about, that’s a big win.
In terms of technical specs, the OpenRun Pro 2 features Shokz’s latest bone conduction technology with Shokz DualPitch, which basically means you get stronger bass and clearer audio than previous models. It’s a real step up. Music sounds fuller, and even podcasts come through crisp and detailed.
Battery life is also solid, with up to 12 hours of playtime on a single charge and a quick charge feature that gives you 2.5 hours of use from just a 5-minute top-up. Perfect if you forget to charge before a workout (guilty!). They’re IP55 water-resistant, so sweat and light rain aren’t an issue, and they’re surprisingly comfy—even over long sessions. The fit is snug but not tight, and they stay in place well, even during runs or high-intensity workouts. There are two band sizes to choose from, the Standard and the Mini. There are also two-colour choices, black and orange with the Kipchonge Co-Branded Edition available in Standard only. There’s Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection, dual noise-cancelling mics for clearer calls, and the controls are simple and responsive. There are tactile buttons on the frame, but they may need to take a couple of goes to become familiar. If you’re after big, booming sound or total noise isolation, these probably aren’t for you, but that’s not the aim of Shokz. But if you value awareness, comfort, and a lightweight design, the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 delivers impressive audio in a unique, smart package.

freedCONN T-MaX s PrO
The FreedConn T-MAX S Pro is a motorcycle Bluetooth headset that comes with a wide range of features and solid performance. Designed for riders to have communication on the road, it combines intercom capability and userfriendly controls in a compact design. It offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and supports up to six riders in a group intercom (though only two can talk at a time in a 6-rider group), with a maximum intercom range of 1,200 meters under ideal conditions.
Audio quality reasonable but things can get a little tricky to hear clearly at top speeds, the DSP noise reduction technology tries hard and works well as lower speeds and quieter engines. The unit features hands-free voice control, which is compatible with Siri and Google Assistant, allowing you to focus on riding while controlling your phone functions. It also supports universal pairing, meaning it can connect with other Bluetooth headsets beyond the FreedConn brand, a major plus for mixed-group riders.
In terms of battery life, the T-MAX S Pro delivers up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time, with a full charge taking about 2.5 hours via USB. It’s IP65 waterproof, so it can handle rain and dust with ease, making it suitable for all-weather riding. Installation is straightforward, and the control unit features a large dial, which is easy to operate even with gloves on. Where the FreeConn T-MAX S Pro excels is its affordability, it a good choice for those fair-weather riders who want to join the crew but don’t want to shell out on a premium level communication device.
Overall, the FreedConn T-MAX S Pro strikes a good balance between affordability and functionality. While it may lack some polish and features, for its price point, it offers a reliable solution for riders who want to stay connected and entertained on the move.

People who practise yoga know how essential it is to have the right mat. It can mean the difference between holding a pose with confidence or slipping out of it and landing ungracefully on your mat. Beyond grip and support, your yoga mat is also your personal space. It is where you ground yourself, focus your breath, and bring together the mind and the body. I believe the look and feel of a mat plays a big role in creating the right energy for your practice, and that choice is deeply personal.
If you are a fan of The Lord of the Rings and enjoy yoga, the Realm of Middle Earth Yoga Mat is honestly a dream come true. It blends a love for fantasy with real, functional design in a way that supports both your physical practice and your imagination.
The design is truly the standout feature. There are eleven beautiful styles to choose from, each inspired by Tolkien’s world. Options range from the iconic map of Middle-earth to the elegant Doors of Durin. My personal favourite is The Ancients of Gondor, which has a strong Tree of Life vibe. Even if you have never read Tolkien or watched the films, the artwork is stunning enough to appeal on its own. The earthy colour palette is rich and grounding, and the visual detail offers just the right amount of inspiration without becoming distracting during your practice. In terms of performance, this mat holds its own. It is made from biodegradable, PVC-free, non-toxic materials including natural rubber and vegan leather. It has an effective non-slip surface on both sides and offers great grip from the moment you step on it. Unlike my old cork mat, which needed warming up, this one is ready to go straight away. The thickness is approximately 4.2 millimetres, offering solid support without being too spongy or affecting balance in standing poses.
It is also slightly larger than the industry standard, measuring 68 centimetres wide and 185 centimetres long. It feels spacious without being bulky. While it is light enough to carry, it does not come with a strap or bag, so you may want to get one separately.
This mat is not just a novelty item. It is a high-quality yoga mat with a unique twist. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a newcomer to the practice, the Realm of Middle Earth mat adds a touch of magic to your flow.

faMILIdOO Q1 MuLTI use WagON
Anyone with young children knows how tricky it can be to get them out and about. One minute they’re insisting they’re too old for the buggy, the next they’re lying on the floor wailing, “My foots have run out of walk” (a genuine quote from my 4-year-old).
That’s where the Familidoo Q1 comes in. Its biggest strength is its versatility – it can be used as a stroller, a pull-along wagon, or even a storage cart, making it perfect for everything from school runs to beach days. It features a five-point harness seat, ideal for toddlers or small kids who need to be safely strapped in (up to 15kg). The spacious interior holds up to 60kg, so there’s plenty of room for bags, snacks, and all the other “essentials” kids insist on bringing. The build quality is seriously solid. With a durable aluminium frame and high-density polyester fabric, it feels more than ready to handle whatever a busy day throws at it. The large, shock-absorbing wheels are a dream – tackling pavements, parks, and even a bit of mud with ease. The front swivel wheels make manoeuvring simple, while the rear brake adds extra peace of mind.
Despite its in-use size (24″L x 37″W x down relatively flat (24″L x 33″W x 13″H), which makes storing it surprisingly manageable. That said, the wheels don’t lay flat, so we found it easier to flip it over with the wheels pointing up – that way, we could store things on top of it in the boot. It’s not exactly featherlight at 11.5kg, but considering how sturdy and spacious it is, the weight feels like a fair trade-off.
Other thoughtful features include a sun canopy with mesh side windows for ventilation, storage pockets, cup holders, a rain cover, and even a removable front door, which the kids think is very exciting (and makes hopping in and out much easier).
In short, the Familidoo Q1 is a bit of a beast – in the best way. It’s robust, adaptable, and perfect for families who need a reliable, multi-purpose wagon that can handle a bit of everything. It's not the cheapest option on the market, but it’s clearly built to last. And once the kids outgrow it, it still has plenty of life left as a trolley for picnics, sports days, or even just hauling gear around. A solid investment for adventurous families.

Eastpak’s one of those brands that just gets it right when it comes to bags and so they should as they’ve been around since the 1950s. They started out making gear for the US military, so durability is kind of in their DNA. These days, they’re best known for their simple, sturdy backpacks like the classic Padded Pak’r. It’s a go-to for loads of people because it’s comfy, practical, uncomplicated and just works. Plus, they back most of their bags with a 30-year warranty, which says a lot. Eastpak also does some cool collabs with designers now and then, mixing that tough build with proper style and we were lucky enough to get our hands on a few of them.

Starting with the Eastpak DAY PAK’R in Jaws collaboration it brings a fresh twist on the classic backpack, and it definitely stands out. If you’ve ever regularly cycled through a city, you’ve probably experienced a near miss once or twice. If you're as unlucky as I am, you may have even been knocked off. In my case, the driver’s excuse was that they didn’t know I was turning left – despite me using the proper hand signals and being in the correct lane. Maybe something like the Overade Life Helmet would have helped me out. It’s designed with urban commuters in mind, and it’s clear from the start that it’s all about balancing style, safety, and convenience.
It looks smart – modern without being too flashy. You can easily wear it with work clothes without feeling like you're off to the skate park. The matte finish and minimal branding give it a clean, grown-up vibe, and there are five different designs to choose from. But don’t let the good looks fool you – it’s certified to EN1078 standards, so you’re still getting solid protection for everyday cycling.
The ventilation is decent but a bit limited, so things can get a little toasty on hotter days. The magnetic buckle is a nice touch – super easy to snap on and off, even one-handed, and no more pinched skin!
In terms of fit, it’s adjustable with a dial at the back and comes in multiple sizes (S to L), so you can get a snug, secure fit without it wobbling or squeezing your head.
The standout feature is the built-in rear LED light, delivering up to 1000 lumens. It wraps around the back of the helmet for side-on visibility and offers five modes: steady (day/night), flash (day/night), and pulse. It also includes left and right turn indicators, activated via a remote on your handlebars. While it means you never have to take your hands off the bars to indicate, I personally use it as an additional signal – drivers are so used to hand signals that I’m not ready to rely on tech alone (especially in my city).
With the optional l’OxiBrake (£40), it adds a brake light function – as soon as you press the brake, all paired lights shine brightly. You also get a powerful headlight flash at the push of a button.
It’s not a folding helmet like some of Overade’s other models, but at around 450g (medium size), it’s lightweight enough to carry without fuss.
Overall, the Overade Life Helmet ticks a lot of boxes. It’s comfortable, stylish, adds loads of visibility, and – most importantly – keeps your head safe. If you're a city rider looking for a sleek, practical helmet without the bulk, it’s a solid investment.

The very first thing you notice about the Niche Zero Coffee Grinder is its elegant design, this particularly stands out in the White model with the aluminium body contrasting nicely with the genuine oak detailing for a modern finish. We all know that looks aren’t everything though but that’s not an issue with this beauty, the Niche Zero is a single dosing coffee grinder, constructed with premium 63mm conical burrs. The patented, straight through design provides a zero-grind retention, ensuring all the flavour ends up right in your cup, there is a dial that can be adjusted for a precise grind setting for your brewing style.
All you need to do is pour the beans into the funnel and switch it on, it will then grind up the beans with surprisingly quiet efficiency, no one needs to deal with a loud blast in the ears before your morning coffee. For safety reasons the Zero will only grind when the lid is fully closed, the dial will help you identify the correct grind size whether you are using a filter, espresso, Chemex or French press, the grind is perfectly consistent no matter the setting.
If we had to be pushed to find something to pick at this isn’t the fastest grinder we have tested but we are talking a matter of seconds here and unless you are in a professional setting it really won’t be that noticeable. It is easy to see the price tag of the coffee grinder and think it is overpriced for home use but if you are into your coffee and use a variety of brewing methods you would do well to find better consistency and retention than this.

My fIrsT fONe s3
As much as I’m conflicted around kids and smart devices the fact is the tech isn’t going anywhere so hoping to keep them separate is like putting a kid in the bath and hoping they don’t get wet. The S3 smart watch from My First Fone aims to allow children to stay in touch and enjoy some features without committing to a full-blown smartphone. This smartwatch has been designed with kids in mind, its recommended for ages 5-12 but you’d be doing well to get a tween to wear something a 5-year-old can wear.
Starting with the basics the S3 allows your child to make and receive calls from a safe contact list that you control via the companion app. No strangers, no spam calls – just family and trusted friends. There’s also a simple chat feature, which works a bit like a kids-only WhatsApp however there isn’t a keyboard but list of handy and common phrases, and voice messages too.
The soft silicone strap makes it’s light and comfy to wear with a large range of size adjustments. It features a bright 1.4-inch screen that’s splash-resistant, so it can handle day-to-day mess but we would prefer full waterproofing just to be on the safe side. The touchscreen is surprisingly responsive for a kids’ watch, and the interface is simple enough for little ones to navigate on their own.
Something we often joke about being useful on a child is the GPS tracking. You can see your child’s real-time location and even set up geofencing alerts, so you’ll get a notification if they wander out of a designated safe zone, like school or the park. It offers real peace of mind, especially for working parents.
There’s also a step counter and some basic fitness goals built in, which is a fun way to encourage kids to be active. And yes, there’s even a camera, nothing too fancy, but good enough for silly selfies and video calls with grandma. Battery life is decent – about a day’s use with moderate activity. You’ll likely need to charge it overnight, just like your phone.
Overall, the My First Fone S3 strikes a great balance between fun and safety. It gives kids a bit of independence, while keeping parents firmly in the loop. However it is pricey when children will quickly outgrow the limitations and the app whilst functional is a little clunky. It’s not a toy, but it’s also not a full smartphone – and for a lot of families, that’s exactly the sweet spot.

As humans we aren’t designed to be sat on our butts all day, it’s bad for our bodies and our minds. So, it can be difficult if your job keeps you tied to a desk all day, however that’s no excuse to keep moving. The FluidStance Plane Cloud is a balance board that aims to keep your muscles constantly working (in a gentle way not in a boot camp way) whilst you are at your desk.
The Plane Cloud is designed with an eco-friendly EVA foam top that’s soft enough to stand on all day but still firm enough to keep your balance in check. It’s like a yoga mat and a balance board had a baby. If you stand barefoot or in socks while working, your feet will thank you.
Underneath, it’s made from recycled plastic and has a slightly curved base that gives just the right amount of movement. It’s not wobbly or unstable—it’s more of a subtle, constant shift that keeps your body engaged. You’re moving without really thinking about it, which is great for improving posture, reducing fatigue, and avoiding that locked-in “standing still” stiffness.
In terms of size and practicality, it fits nicely under most desks and is light enough to move around easily. It’s also super quiet, so you won’t be creaking around during calls or disturbing your coworkers (or cats, in my case). It’s worth getting something to pop underneath it to protect hard floors, Fluid Stance have the Base Mat but its not cheap at £87.
One of the biggest pluses is that it just makes standing more enjoyable. It sort of scratches a fidgety itch I tend to get whilst working at the deskI find I can comfortably stand longer, and I feel less stiff at the end of the day, particularly in my knees. It’s a small change that adds up, especially if you’re trying to be less sedentary.
On the downside, it’s not the cheapest option out there and its rather limited in what else it can do, and if you’re looking for something more intense—like a full-on balance trainer for workouts—this isn’t it. But for what it’s designed to do, it nails it.
All in all, the FluidStance Plane Cloud is a simple, comfortable, and surprisingly effective way to stay active while you work. If you’re standing more and want to level up your setup, it’s well worth considering.

Have you ever heard the phrase a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp knife? It’s true, the more pressure you use the more likely it is to slip, that’s why having sharp knives in the kitchen makes all the difference. Whether you're carving up a roast, slicing bread or cake, or prepping a load of veg, a sharp blade makes everything quicker, safer, and just more enjoyable. Dull knives are not only frustrating but also risky, as they need more pressure and are more likely to slip.
That’s where the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener really shines. It’s a smart bit of kit with a sleek, modern design and comes ready to use – no fiddly assembly. With its diamond grinding wheel, honing wheel, and sturdy build, it keeps your knives razor-sharp and long-lasting. Made in Sweden with over 35 years of experience behind it, it’s built to last – and even comes with an 8-year warranty. Keep your kitchen ready for anything this Easter – sharp knives make all the difference!
If you have children, been shopping online or just basically just lived in the world recently there’s a strong chance you have come across Squishmallows. These cuddly friends are everywhere right now with a huge range of creatures to choose from that won’t break the bank. They all have their own birthdays and character bios. We had four squishy pals turn up at our door. Philomena the Toad, is a soft purple colour with a sweet smile, but underneath she’s a sleep loving politician. Dagnus the Tan Highland Cow is a gentle giant, all fluffy fur and chilled-out vibes, perfect for a proper cosy cuddle. Melzie the Chipmunk’s like to create artistic sculptures in her spare time and then there’s Gigi the Tabby Cat, ever so cuddly with her soft stripes and an obsession for apples. These ultra huggable toys are so tactile and cute, its hard no to fall inlove.
