“FROM THE START I WANTED TO APPLY DESIGN TO SHAPES AS WELL AS TO THE CONCEPT OF SPACE NOT SOLELY DEDICATED TO THE PREPARATION OF FOOD AND TO THE DINING TABLE BUT ALSO TO THE CONDUCTION OF OTHER LIVING FUNCTIONS”

FOR ANTONIO, DESIGNING KITCHENS REPRESENTS THE SOCIAL CHANGE AND EVOLUTION IN THE HOME. KITCHENS USED TO BE A PRIVATE SPACE IN THE 1970’S, WHEREAS NOW THEY ARE SOMETHING TO DISPLAY; A SPACE TO SOCIALIZE THAT IS NO LONGER JUST LIMITED TO A LIVING ROOM.

THE 1428 KITCHEN: INSPIRED BY THE PRINCIPIA COLLECTION

REWORKED TRADITION WITH AN AESTHETIC APPROACH AND A CONTEMPORARY FUNCTIONAL VISION. THIS, IN BRIEF, IS THE AIM OF A KITCHEN PROJECT WHERE PRINCIPIA, WITH ITS CHARACTERISTIC FRAMED WOODEN DOOR, HELPS TO DEFINE A WARM, WELCOMING FEEL.

PRINCIPIA, CONVIVIUM

WHICH ANTONIO CITTERIO WON AN AWARD FOR IN 2019 THIS COLLECTION PROVIDES HOME ARCHITECTURE WITH EXTRAORDINARY SOLUTIONS, INCORPORATING DIFFERENT WOODS, MARBLES, AND STAINLESS STEEL INTO EACH DESIGN.

PHILOSOPHY

ARCLINEA CREATES OPTIMAL SOLUTIONS FOR WORKTOPS IN THE KITCHEN, PROVIDING ENOUGH SPACE FOR COOKING.

THEIR GOAL IS TO CREATE THE PERFECT INTEGRATION OF MAN AND THE MACHINE IN THE KITCHEN.

Arclinea uses a range of marbles, granites, and quartz.

3–WOOD

Arclinea uses wood with a new-gen finish that highlights the naturalness of the material.

2–STAINLESS STEEL

Hygienic, resistant and safe, and the go-to first choice for Arclinea production quality.

Antonio Citterio uses stainless steel because he sees it as a material that is a departure from the classical technology of ‘kitchen furniture’.

Mensolinea Shelf is a multi-purpose bar.

It features built-in 3000K LED lighting and can house on request integrated power sockets.

Its functionality can be enhanced and customized throughout an extensive line of accessories, available in wood veneer or black lacquered wire, hooking on to the built-in accessory rail.

THE BREAKFAST BAR

Precious and refined workmanship, accompanied by solid wood details, are the features of the Era System collection: a line of tables and breakfast bars 4 cm thick, integrated with the operational islands using exclusive connection systems.

Thanks to this extremely versatile range with all its different solutions, any layout, whether linear, island or peninsula, can be designed to suit all user needs.
