CONGRATULATIONS, JOHN!

LETTER FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Dear Regis Community,

We are beyond excited for what promises to be a championship-level evening at Regis’ Saturday Knight FIFA Auction & Gala! The energy is building, the lights are bright, and we are ready to take the field for one of the School’s most important fundraisers of the year. If I have learned anything over the past four years at Regis, it is that this community always shows up ready to compete at the highest level in support of our amazing school.

This year’s auction lineup is nothing short of World Cup–worthy. We have incredible items up for bid, along with an ambitious Paddles Up project that we hope will be a true gamechanger for our campus layout. Whether you’ve got your eye on the trip of a lifetime, an adorable new four-legged teammate, or an unforgettable experience, I encourage you to get off the sidelines and into the action—bid early, bid high, and bid often. Every winning bid helps us score big for The Regis Experience and the students we serve.

Tonight is also about Goal IV and the spirit of community that defines Regis so beautifully. When we come together—passing, assisting, and cheering one another on—we play like a team destined for greatness. Your presence, generosity, and school spirit make this a winning celebration.

A special thank you to our Auction Co-Chairs—Olga and Gerald Balboa & Allison and Stephen Lewis— for being a dream team and captaining this effort with passion, leadership, and vision. Their dedication has helped carry this event across the goal line. I would also be remiss not to recognize our incredible Auction committees for the countless hours of preparation and teamwork happening behind the scenes.

Thank you for coming, bringing the hype, and helping Regis reach our GOAL to ensure we deliver an unparalleled educational experience for boys in the Sacred Heart tradition now and beyond!

It’s gamtime, Knights!

Steven R. Turner, Jr. Head of School

PADDLES UP

At Regis, the safety of our students will always be our number one priority. And right now, there are areas of our campus that remain exposed—where outdated fencing allows visibility into our athletic fields and student spaces. Completing the brick wall around campus is a major step toward creating the safe, protected environment our students deserve. The wall will limit visibility from the street—whether during athletic events or throughout the school day—while creating a defined campus perimeter that enhances privacy and reinforces security for our community.

And we’re not stopping there. With the completion of the wall, we also plan to add a guardhouse at the entrance off Westview Drive, ensuring that every person entering campus is cleared through I.D. first. In addition, the Whispering Pines carpool entrance will be gated, meaning the entire Regis campus will be fully enclosed and secure. This project is about peace of mind. It’s about ensuring our students can learn, grow, compete, and thrive, knowing they are protected.

And as a bonus, the finished wall will give Regis the elevated, cohesive look our campus deserves—one that reflects the pride, strength, and tradition of our community. This is our largest Paddles Up initiative to date, and we are asking our community to dig deep. Together, we can complete this project and strengthen Regis’ safety and future for generations to come.

This year, we seek to raise $400,000 to complete this project. We want to thank Olivia and Jesus Garcia for their leadership gift of $100,000 to help support this important initiative! Please consider joining them at the big night on March 21!
