SEVENTH GRADE CAMPS

JUNE 7-11 (MONDAY – FRIDAY)

3D MODELING ENGINEERING & PRINTING Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $300 for One Week or $550 for Two Weeks Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Mr. Blake Alderfer Grade(s): 6th, 7th, 8th

Students will learn Design Thinking, 3D modeling using TinkerCad and use 3D printers to design and create their own 3D printed city! Students will test their city design against mother nature and see how well their city holds up to hurricane winds, flooding and earthquakes. Students are encouraged to attend both weeks but single week registrations are accepted.

PHOTOSHOP CAMP Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Ms. Jen Messner Grade(s): 6th, 7th

Come and develop your digital design skills by creating exciting original projects using Adobe Photoshop. Students will need to bring their Regis Macbooks. Computers will be provided to those that have not been issued one yet.

RUGBY SKILLS CAMP Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Coach Holub Grade(s): 6th, 7th, 8th

Spend the early evenings working on everything "Rugby" with the master of Rugby: Coach Holub!

STEM is science, technology, engineering, and math. These are all areas of learning that our kids need to be comfortable with to excel in the future. STEM makes creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors. We'll spend time with hands-on engaging and fun STEM projects (inside and outside!).

SOCCER SKILLS & CONDITIONING CAMP Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 40 Instructor: Mr. Blake Alderfer Grades: 5th, 7th

Players will develop fundamentals, strength and conditioning, soccer knowledge by participating in fun and challenging drills and scrimmages.

PRE-ALGEBRA FOR RISING SEVENTH GRADERS Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $275.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Ms. Pam Weikel Grade(s): 7th

Get ready for 7th Grade Pre-Algebra! This is a 2-session camp over a period of 2 weeks available for incoming 7th graders. Each session covers different material. A camper may choose to attend both camps or only the that fits their schedule. Each camp is separate and does not carry a prerequisite of a prior week’s camp. Topics covered: Fractions and mixed numbers, decimal operations, percentage, rate and scale drawing, geometry, measures of central tendency, simple interest, square roots, Pythagorean theorem, volume and surface areas, simplifying polynomials and more! Snacks provided and breaks outside or in the gym (temperature permitting).
