There is so much to do along this iconic stretch of Appalachian Highway that we strongly suggest spending the entire day on this drive. There are curves, vistas, never-ending views, hiking trails, mile-high gaps, horseback riding, backcountry camping, front country camping, wild trout fly fishing, and more!
