Macon Waves Ducky Derby & NC Big Sweep The Franklin Young Professionals are one of Franklin’s newest organizations. They are hosting their 1st Annual ‘Macon Waves Ducky Derby’ this summer at ‘Big Bear Park’ on the Greenway with hopes to raise awareness and funds to give back. FYP will be partnering with the ‘NC Big Sweep’ initiative and the ‘Land Trust for the Little Tennessee’ for an early morning clean-up of the Little Tennessee River, as part of the first phase of this event.

At Noon, FYP will be having a cookout, hosting games and the Ducky Derby to raise money for their scholarship fund and a Little Tennessee River Greenway donation.
