SA Express-News dubs St. Mary’s first in Reader’s Choice KARINA CHARO CONTRIBUTING WRITER
After surveying more than 29,000 San Antonio residents in an annual assessment of San Antonio’s best, San Antonio Express-News has declared St. Mary’s their Readers’ Choice Best University for the third year in a row. St. Mary’s attributes the award the university’s
dedication to fostering the formation of faith and educating leaders for the common good through liberal arts education and community. Regarding the announcement, the university released a statement saying, “It is an honor to be recognized—again and again and again.” For students at St. Mary’s, though, the ranking does not come as a surprise. “My mom and dad met at St. Mary’s and they
