What do you think of when you hear the word growth? Do you think of innovation and transformation? Expanding into a new chapter? Do you think of achievements? I like to think that we’ve embraced these qualities into The Prop House over the last few years.
So much that we have officially outgrown our beloved home in Woolloongabba. Physically, our catalogue of props has grown from ‘under the house’ into warehouses full of unique and wonderful items. Our departments have grown with new staff joining the team and all through this issue you will find the smaller and intricate ways that growth has blossomed through my company.
The fifth issue of the Schmooze will take you on a stroll down the road to our new home in Coorparoo and travel back through the memories we’ve made at 306 Vulture Street. We follow growth; from the sowing of the seed to the (sometimes too heavy) rainfall that has created flowers, our harvest of events and activations, and the community garden we have nourished.
