MEET THE TEAM

In 1987 I took my first job in estate agency on a voluntary basis to enable me to ‘lear n the ropes’. I quickly realised that it was the direction that my career would take. Five years later I opened the doors to my own business with second-hand desks, typewriter and phones – and a couple of enthusiastic colleagues, shortly followed by my retired father helping out at the weekends. The business has continually developed and grown from those humble beginnings and now incorporates both sales and lettings departments.

I have been very fortunate to work with some immensely talented people who share my passion to keep developing, both personally and as a business, and provide a first-class service to the people that we deal with. I hope it continues for many years to come.

Estate agency has been my career choice since 1988. I originally worked for a corporate estate agent and joined Jacksons in October 2002. I am passionate about property and all that it entails and motivated to offer our clients the best possible moving experience. Along with the team, we continually update our working procedures to ensure that our clients receive the best possible advice. We have won many accolades, the most recent of which was LEADING INNOVATION IN ESTATE & LETTING AGENCY. My favourite thing in life is cake!

Jacksons is no longer a job for me, it’s a way of life. I came to work for Jacksons early in 2003 ago on a part time basis. Over the years my role developed until I eventually committed to a full-time role and am now the sales manager. I love the diversity that the job brings and look forward to each day throwing up new challenges. Chatting to different people and finding the right property for them is what I love most about the job. My favourite thing in life is a nice handbag!

David Hopkins - Valuations Manager

I am proud to have grown up in Rainham and to have enjoyed all that this area offers. I have been in estate agency since 1990. I believe it is my knowledge of the area and all it has to offer, the community relationships that I have developed, combined with my love of property which sets me apart. I am enthusiastic & outgoing and happy to go that extra mile to make sure that my clients get the best possible experience. My favourite thing in life is a Greggs Sausage Roll!

Stephanie Hall - Sales Progressor

I joined the Jacksons team in the summer of 2021, before which I worked in London with a large corporate estate agent for many years. I have always enjoyed my job and my current position as a sales progressor has given me the chance to consolidate all the knowledge that I have banked over the years and direct it toward ensuring a smooth pathway for all our buyers & sellers. My favourite things in life are the cats whose house we live in!

Mazie Couchman - Lettings Manager

Jacksons was my first job out of school, and I came here on an apprenticeship scheme. I fell in love with the buzz of lettings from the get-go and can’t imagine doing anything else. I have worked through all the jobs in the lettings department and have climbed the career ladder to Lettings Manager. The diverse workload and matching people to property is what keeps me motivated. I enjoy having my mind taxed and having to adapt to continually changing situations, along with the legislative side of my job which keeps me on my toes and continually topping up my knowledge bank. My favourite thing in life is walking because it gives me the opportunity to exhale and reset my mind.

Ruth Eastwood - Lettings & Accounts Assistant

When my career started in admin I was working for the NHS. I wanted to progress to a role that would give me growth both personally & professionally and coming to work at Jacksons has achieved this. I pay rents and reconcile accounts which suits my calm & ordered mind. As well as referencing potential tenants, dealing with tenancy renewals and end of tenancy checkouts. The general lettings-based day brings variety to the job and the CPD encourages me to tax my mind and strive to improve myself. My favourite thing in life is my tiny dog Poppy.
