Both local residents and visitors will agree, there is no place in Ontario quite like the Kawartha Lakes. With a vibrant arts sector you can listen to concerts in the park, find unique local artisan products and not to mention the breathtaking waterfront trails along the Trent-Severn Waterway and scenic nature walks throughout the region. If you haven’t explored Kawartha Lakes, this year the Ontario government is providing a great opportunity to do so with the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit. This tax credit allows Ontario residents to claim 20 per cent of their eligible 2022 accommodation expenses and individuals can get back up to $200 or $400 as a family.

Whether it’s rest and relaxation you’re looking for, some great local shopping or entertainment, you’ll find it all right here in the Kawartha Lakes!
