How did you get your start in accounting?

With the money I made from my crack sales, LOL, combined with money for my grades, I found joy in counting and tracking money I used to carry around an organizer and use the financial tracking pages to count my money. After spending a lot of time working at my dad’s company, I decided to combine the two, and accounting was the solution

Tell us about Management Consultants of America.

I founded Management Consultants of America in 1999. I chose the name based on the acronym of the company that father career took off MCA records I knew then that money was an important tool to manage a business properly I wanted to be an advisor to business owners, not just an accountant

Can you tell us about the message behind your ACCOUNTability program? How can new entrepreneurs benefit from this program?

The ACCOUNTability program is a combination of business coaching with accounting services. I create clarity regarding the numbers, reduce anxiety about the numbers, and help business owners use their numbers to strategically run their businesses I create audit-proof Accounting Systems and stream tax planning and preparation while getting businesses finance-ready I manage the accounting processes and help with strategic management and business growth.

What is the most common misconception you come across regarding entrepreneurship and finances?

The biggest hurdle I face with new clients is getting them to mentally separate their business finances from their personal This mental shift is the catalyst for success Once that shift is made, now owners can use much more of the tax code to their benefit

What is next for you? Where do you see your brand in the next 3-5 years?

My vision is to help 10,000 business owners reach seven-figure incomes I believe that this approach to small business accounting support can help catapult more businesses to million-dollar status, and I am looking forward to being on that journey.
