A message from the committee chairs
Dear Friends,
For twenty-nine years, the Golf Classic has brought together our community to celebrate the power of philanthropy and the generosity of those who believe in it . Dozens of rounds have been played, friendships have been made, and together we have raised more than $1 .7 million in support of Prairie’s scholarship fund . That impact is profound, and it’s only possible because of you
What began in 1997 with the vision of John Gittings and Joe Marino, inspired by Gene Johnson’s commitment to access and opportunity, has flourished into one of the nation’s top golf outings . Today, the Golf Classic continues to provide financial support to deserving students and families, ensuring that a Prairie education remains within reach .
Yes, a few shots may land in the traps and some putts may roll long, but the true win comes from gathering with this remarkable community . If golf isn’t on your scorecard, tonight’s festivities, complete with spirited competition, delicious food, signature cocktails, and live music, promise an evening to remember .
On behalf of the Golf Classic committee, thank you . Your support keeps this tradition strong and our mission moving forward
With gratitude,
Brian Langendorf and Krystyn Hirsch Golf Classic Committee Co-Chairs
