FOOD AS MEDICINE

As we celebrate 35 remarkable years of the Poverello Center's service, we acknowledge the vital role we play in the health and longevity of our community. A recent study from Boston Public Health Commission reveals the deep-seated health disparities in our society - a staggering 23-year difference in life expectancy exists within a two-mile radius, largely due to socioeconomic and racial disparities.
