This year Pleasance Kidzone is space themed with another jam packed bundle of the best children’s theatre, comedy, workshops and activities on the Fringe.

Whether you’re looking for famous faces, something a little different or a spot of playtime, Pleasance Kidzone has it all!

The Golden Cowpat

2nd - 25th August, 10.15am (11.10am) Pleasance Courtyard - Above

Start the day with naughty cow Betty and farmer Hector on a magical muddy adventure, brought to you by award-winning Tucked In (Tim and Light). Join in with irresistible folk songs, bid for a Golden Cowpat and even choose the story’s ending!

Song Circle | My Yellow Ukelele

31st July - 25th August, 10.45am (11.15am) & 11.45am (12.30pm) Pleasance Courtyard - The Green

Fun for wee ones with Scottish folk singer Gill Bowman. Song Circle presents classic nursery rhymes, Scottish children’s songs and a hamper of toys for under-2s. For the 2-5s dress up, sing and strum with Gill at My Yellow Ukelele.

The Adventure

When a famous scientist is abducted, it takes his two children, their best friend, an incompetent storyteller, and YOU to rescue him. The Famous Five meets Scooby Doo meets The Crystal Maze in this unique hour of funny, inventive and interactive theatre. Meet Piers Torday author of The Last Wild, discover how a childhood encounter with Roald Dahl inspired him to start writing and listen to an exclusive extract from his new animal adventure.

The Just So Stories
