Rodney Lyde of the Baptist Temple Church looked out on a crowd of protestors sitting in the middle of Forbes Avenue and said that he couldn’t accept Pittsburgh’s title as the “most livable city.” Lyde disputed the ranking, which The Economist bestowed in 2014, at the Fight for $15 protest, as he said there are people in Pittsburgh who can’t afford to pay the bus fare to get to work.
