Creating a Lasting Legacy at Pennington
The Francis Harvey Green Society recognizes Pennington donors who have pledged their support with a planned gift. Planned gifts significantly bolster the endowment needed to keep The Pennington School competitive and deliver on our core values of Honor, Virtue, and Humility. In just the past twenty years, Pennington has received more than $4 million in estate gifts. All alumni, parents, and friends of Pennington are invited to be recognized as members of the Francis Harvey Green Society by making a bequest provision in your estate plans or by establishing a life income gift.
Planned Giving at Pennington: A Mutually Beneficial Endeavor
Making a planned gift shows your support and appreciation for the School and can help you meet your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. Many planned giving vehicles help secure retirement and maximize inheritances for future generations while also providing support for The Pennington School and its mission.
Dr. Francis Harvey Greenwas headmaster of The Pennington School from 1920 to 1943 and left a lasting mark on Pennington. His legacy encompasses far more than the letters, manuscripts, and books he presented to the School on his retirement. He is revered for the commitment to academic excellence and respect for each individual that were his hallmark. The Francis Harvey Green Society was established to honor his legacy, celebrate his guiding values of generosity and humility, and ensure a strong future for the School through planned giving.
