Joanna Booth: The Discerning Eye, (lots 40-179), assembled by the doyenne of early textiles, sculpture, furniture and old master drawings, who traded from the Kings Road, London, for 42 years. Highlights include the Spanish limestone figure of a bishop, probably St. Martin of Tours, Spanish, circa 1300 (lot 47) and the rare Flemish ‘feuilles de choux’ tapestry (lot 151), c. 1580, woven wool, with wildlife and foliage.
