“I think that it just gets them inspired (young voters) to be able to use their voice,” junior Jarrett said. “Voting is one of the ways that we can all use our voice in democracy and I think it helps inspire them to get involved in other ways in being politically active.”
On Sept. 22, the BSU held a virtual Voter Registration Fair in honor of National Voter Registration Day for students to have a kick start to begin pre-registering and registering to vote. Ramelb pointed out the significance that voting has on society, especially for this year’s presidential and senate elections. -P

By Mahali Sanchez hile only playing guitar for a year and a half, senior Christopher Lorio received an acceptance letter to Berklee College of Music in Boston.
“I can always rely on my family when I need something to further my interest,” who Lorio, who had to audition to get into Berklee.
After enrolling at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School and being placed in music teacher Wes Hambright’s class, Lorio found something he was interested in.
Having his family and friends support him in his musical career is his biggest goal. Studying new riffs, solos and tempo for each song is what carries Lorio’s passion to continue playing and succeeding with each song.
