Raising awareness for Suicide Prevention

On September 10th , the County of Brant, along with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Brant Haldimand Norfolk Branch, Ontario Provincial Police – West Region Suicide Prevention Brant and members of the community affected by suicide raised the flag at Council Chambers for World Suicide Prevention Day World Suicide Prevention Day sheds light on the very important topic of mental health in our community. It also aims to reduce stigma and raise awareness among organizations, governments, and the public that suicides are preventable.
