Paris Curling Club members travel to BeerSpiel in Michigan

Paris Curling Club photos

As the ice at the Paris Curling Club is just about ready for the season, some members are getting some early practice in at bonspiels across the border. Some Paris club members travelled to Kalamazoo, Michigan to participate in their annual BeerSpiel. A team of PCC men formed one team (top middle), while another PCC member – Ashley - joined forces with ladies from the Detroit Curling Club (top left) to also participate in the BeerSpiel. The men went 2-2, falling in the C Event semifinals. The ladies’ team had a tough go while trying to get back into the sweep of things! The teams had a ton of fun reuniting with some friendly faces from previous spiels they've played in, while also meeting a bunch of other curlers from all over North America File this in things you don’t see every day – PCC members pictured top right participating in the KCC annual Keg Curling tradition, which is harder than it looks!
