Federal government announces extra firefighter training funding during Cainsville Fire Station visit

The County of Brant Fire Department announced yesterday the pleasure of hosting the Honourable Chrystia Freeland Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, as well as the President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, Harjit S. Sajjan for a visit and tour of the Cainsville Fire Station on May 9th. During this visit, Deputy Prime Minister Freeland and Minister Sajjan announced that the federal government is doubling Volunteer Firefighter and Search and Rescue Tax Credits and providing additional support for Firefighter Training.
