Andrew J. Macirowski Pastoral Coordinator for Worship & Music / Principal Organist Worship@stmaryscoltsneck.org Music@stmaryscoltsneck.org Beginning Monday, 6 July 2020 the (M-F) 9 am daily Mass will be celebrated in the chapel set up in the parish hall.

Beginning Saturday, 11 July 2020 the Sacrament of Penance & Reconciliation will be available at 4 pm - MASKS are required; the anticipated Mass for Sunday will resume at 5 pm Saturday night.

For all parishioners: Congregating before and after Mass is prohibited, as per the bishop. There will be no children’s liturgy of the word dismissal. Volunteers are greatly needed to wipe down the wood of the pews after all Masses (weekend and weekday). We will have a cleaning crew take care of the floors, bathrooms etc, but need this little bit of additional help. Please contact Andrew if you are able. At weekday Masses, no one is to arrive prior to 8:30 AM. All Masses will be in the Chapel in the Parish Hall. Exposition remains suspended for now. Private adoration of the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the tabernacle is welcomed and encouraged at any time.

EXPECTATIONS AS WE PREPARE TO GATHER FOR MASS Parishioners can choose which Mass they will attend. Enter through the center main doors. There will be personnel there to insure that each person is wearing their mask and to advise that social distancing is to be observed when entering/exiting, selecting a seat, processing/recessing to receive Holy Communion. It will require all to come earlier than usual to be processed and to search for seating that observes social distancing. Because of this entrance will be restricted once the Mass has begun. Masks

and Social/Physical distancing are required. There can be no physical collection of Stewardship Offerings; Two designated boxes will be placed in the Narthex/Gathering Space for the placement of envelopes or offerings. Thank you for your generosity. Missals, Missalettes, Bulletins, and other papers have been removed. Holy Water has been drained from all locations. Parish Clergy will distribute Holy Communion; we ask all coming forth to observe distancing front to back and side to side.

We have been advised that socializing before or after the Mass inside or outside is to be discouraged; clergy are not permitted to greet parishioners before or after the Mass.

Summer Intensive Orientation We will be having the Summer Intensive Orientation on Saturday, July 11th after the 5 pm Mass and Sunday, July 12th after the 12 pm Mass.

We welcome Julia Cullen to the Religious Education Department. Julia has been an active parishioner of the Parish of Saint Mary for many years. Most recently as a catechist on Tuesdays, while obtaining her Parish Catechetical Leader certification. We look forward to working with Julia as the Pastoral

During this short meeting the text books will be handed out. This is a mandatory meeting for all July Summer Intensive families.

Please attend one of theses Masses and following meeting on Saturday, July 11th 5 pm or Sunday, July 12th 12 pm Mass. This way the students will be prepared for the Google Class with their teacher The first day of class Monday, July 13 starting at 9 am and running through 12 noon.

Formed for Summer students The teachers in our summer religious education program may make use of videos from Formed.org with their students. Our parish subscribes to Formed and it has a variety of resources for people of all ages. We are asking all the families registered in the summer program to set up an account with Formed so that it is accessible to your child if directed to view a video by their teacher.
