THOMAS LEE WILLIAMS

WINAMAC, IN - Thomas Lee “Toby” Williams, 46, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at his home. He was born September 30, 1976 in Arcadia, Florida to John H. and Shirley A. (Thompson) Williams.

Toby was a graduate of Winamac High School. He was a free spirit who enjoyed living his life to the fullest.

He is survived by his father, John of Winamac, one sister, Jeanette (Steve) Cooper of Enterprise, Alabama and three brothers: Leonard “Frankie” Williams of Winamac, Frank Thompson of Elkhart, Indiana and Terry Howerton of Lafayette, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, one brother, Johnny Williams and an infant sister, Donna Sue Williams. No services were held.

Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary, Winamac.

CARL FLOYD RUDD

KNOX, IN - Carl Floyd Rudd, 72, died Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Knox, Indiana. He was born May 7, 1951, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late William and Helen May (Johnston) Rudd. Carl enjoyed listening to music, playing his drums and spending time with his family.

He is survived by one son, Jansen (Sandy) Rudd of North Judson, Indiana, two daughters: Caleen Troup of Knox and Claudette (Anthony) Bailey of North Judson, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four brothers: Larry (Shelly) Rudd of West Carolton, Ohio, Phillip (Patty) Rudd of Goshen, Indiana, Tom Rudd of Knox and Cecil (Margie) Rudd of Colona, Illinois. He was preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Rudd. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.

WANDA SUE MOSS

WINAMAC, IN - Wanda Sue Moss, 73, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, She was born March 1, 1950, in Salyersville, Kentucky. Wanda was a graduate of Salyersville High School and had worked at Eaton’s until they closed and the at Rose Acres until she retired.

She is survived by two sons: James L. (Amanda) Moss, Jr. and Timothy N. Moss, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her mother, Irene Coldiron, three sisters: Carol Davis, Ruth (Mike) Toosley and Ruby Coldiron and one brother, Garry (Patty) Coldiron. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny L. Moss, and two brothers: Terry and Larry Coldiron. Visitation will be from 1-3pm EDT, Friday, August 4, at Frain Mortuary. Private burial will be in the Winamac Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

JOHN E. BALDWIN

KINGSFORD HEIGHTS, IN - John E. Baldwin, 84, died Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born May 7, 1939, in Argos, Indiana, to the late Kenneth and Iris Baldwin. On August 5, 1978, he married Dorothy Patton.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, children: John (Jacqueline) Salyer of La Porte, Indiana, Cindy (Alan) Bailey of North Carolina and Rand Baldwin of South Bend, Indiana, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one sister, Rebecca Schrock of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 2, at 12 Noon CT, with visitation two hours prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.

Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.

ARNOLD RICHIE

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Arnold Richie, 88, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Winamac, Indiana. He was born July 28, 1934, in Lambert, Kentucky, to the late Zack and Polly (Miller) Richie. On December 24, 1954, in Knox, Indiana, he married Hazel Caudill.

Arnold enjoyed riding his bike, gardening, reading, taking walks with his dogs and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel, two daughters: Rhonda Kletz of Francesville, Indiana and Gale (Chuck) Forman of Constantine, Michigan, one son, Guy (Sherry) Richie of North Judson, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers: William, Henry, Edward, Pierce, Silas and Alex Richie and four sisters: Armenda Danti, Alice Kajer, Daisy Marshall and Naomi Miller. Services were held Monday, July 31, at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, with Rev. Art Good officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson. Memorials may be made to Kid’s Closet or the Starke County Humane Society. Arrangements were made by Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson.
