Residents of Railroad Twp. and all of Starke County, as we wait for answers for last week’s questions here are a few more we should ask the commissioners and Next Era Solar:

•What are the financial benefits from solar projects for Starke County?

•Will the parcels that are leased for solar be taxed as commercial?

•Will the parcels be zoned as commercial?

•Is there a contract with Next Era or NIPSCO for annual revenue to Starke County?

•If so what are the terms?
