TAMMY LYNN GRIGSBY
MEDARYVILLE, IN - Tammy Lynn Grigsby, 53, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, Indiana. She was born December 10, 1971, in La Porte, Indiana to Roy L. and Barbara J. (German) McIlvain. On August 26, 2017 in Medaryville, she married Tony Ray Grigsby, Sr. Tammy was a 1990 graduate of West Central High School. She had worked as a phlebotomist at American health Network and LabCorp in Lafayette, Indiana for 28 years. She was a Disney enthusiast and a tattoo fanatic. Her family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Tony, two daughters: Jessica D. (Chris) Smith of Brookston, Indiana and Sidney D. Wireman of Medaryville, eight grandchildren, her father, Roy and one brother, Scott (Sharon) McIlvain, both of Medaryville. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Ray Grigsby, Jr., one daughter, Nikki Nichole Grigsby and her mother, Barbara.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm EDT on Thursday, May 29 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel. Services will be held at 11am on Friday, May 30 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Dewlen officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery in Medaryville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Indiana.

MICHAEL SUMMEY
CULVER, IN - FORMERLY OF KNOX, IN - Michael Summey, 70, died Sunday, May 18, 2025 in Culver, Indiana. He was born January 4, 1955, in Knox, Indiana to the late James and Iva Jean (Rowe) Summey. Michael enjoyed tinkering around the house and doing yard work. His greatest passion was spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Michael (Priscilla) Summey of Plymouth, Indiana, two daughters: Amanda (Joel) Lloyd of Culver and Jennifer Sapp of Hamlet, Indiana, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and two brothers: James and Roger Summey, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Clay Barnett and Linda Summey.
No services will be held at this time. Memorials may be made to Braman & Son Memorial Chapel.

DONNA MARIE KORZENIOWSKI
WINAMAC, IN - Donna Marie Korzeniowski, 73, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was born November 11, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Goosen) Keating. In 1973 in California, she married Richard John Korzeniowski. He died in 2012.
Donna was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. She enjoyed weekly TOPS meetings and the friendships she made, baking, gardening, reading, watching old movies and spending time with her family. She was an avid supporter of Boys Town of America, Shriners Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.
She is survived by one son, Richard (Patricia) Korzeniowski of Winamac, one grandson and siblings: Marty, Mercy, Mary Kay, Kathy, Margie and Theresa. She was preceded in death by one grandson, DeAndre Bryant and two brothers: Floyd Keating, Jr. and Mickey Keating.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Boys Town of America, Shriners Hospital or Ronald McDonald House. Please consider planting a tree in Donna’s memory.

KATHERINE ELIZABETH BROGDON
WINAMAC, IN - FORMERLY OF BRUCE LAKE, IN - Katherine Elizabeth “Bunny” Brogdon, 83, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was born July 11, 1941 in Winamac, Indiana to the late Herman and Hannah (Dunker) Smidler. On October 28, 1962 in Reynolds, Indiana, she married Melvin LaVon “Nub” Brogdon. He died October 10, 2015.
Bunny was devoted wife and mother who also worked part time at the A&P Store and Alexander’s Meat Market in Winamac. She loved living on Lake Bruce fishing and boating. She enjoyed wintering at Pine Island and Avon Park, Florida, camping all over the US and Canada and spending time with her family, supporting her granddaughters in all their activities and receiving pictures of her great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Joy (Craig) Barr of Kokomo, Indiana, one son, Melvin Scott (Missie) Brogdon of Winamac, four granddaughters, two great grandchildren, one sister, Paula (Larry) Beauchamp and one brother, Herman “Sonny” (Norma) Smidler, both of Monticello, Indiana. She was preceded in death by siblings: Francis Hoover and Fred Smidler.
Memorial visitation will be from 11am-1pm EDT on Sunday, June 8 at Frain Mortuary with a celebration of life to follow at 1pm EDT. Burial will be in the Bruce Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center or Ronald McDonald House.

GEORGE E. WERNER SR.
WANATAH, IN - George E. Werner Sr., 84, died Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born April 10, 1941 in Hanna, Indiana to the late Earl H. and Lorraine Egolf Werner. On September 17, 1960 he married Kathleen Ledbetter.
George was a proud veteran, having served in the US Air force as a mechanic, working on the Voodoo F-101 jets in Thailand, Okinawa and Vietnam. He spent his working career driving truck as a steel hauler and a mechanic. After retiring he continued driving truck for Kasier Crop Services and Colter Farms. He loved MOPAR vehicles and his Ram truck, tinkering in the garage and vacationing in Arizona and Texas. He was a member of the La Crosse Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, two sons: George E. Werner Jr. of Hanna and Rusty A. (Amy) Werner of Texas, three grandchildren and siblings: Harold (Donna) Werner, Kenneth Werner, David (Faye) Werner, Keith Werner, Tim Werner, Dianna Sutter, Jeanett (David) Tucker and Loretta Ware. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Louis, John, Charles and Ivan Werner.
A funeral service will take place at 12 Noon CT on Friday, May 30 with visitation one hour prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox, Indiana.

GLORY RUTH KOCH
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Glory Ruth Koch, 85, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in North Judson, Indiana. She was born June 9, 1939 in Sublett, Kentucky to the late Carl and Elsa (Vollbrecht) Schadek. On June 26, 1965 in Knox, Indiana, she married Donald Koch.
Glory enjoyed cooking. She loved to serve people and minister and pray for people in need. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, two sons: Brian (Heather) Koch of Clearwater, Florida and Doug (Jennifer) Koch of San Pierre, Indiana, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings: David Schadek and Dorothy Trent.
Services were held Saturday, May 24 at the Trinity Assembly of God Church with Rev. Larry Lund officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery in Denham, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Outreach Ministry of Trinity Assembly of God Church.
Arrangements were made by Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson.
PHYLLIS J. WUETHRICH
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Phyllis J. Wuethrich, 93, died Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born December 26, 1931, in Milford, Indiana to the late Elmer and Rose (Beer) Haab. On March 11, 1951 in Milford, she married Robert W. “Bob” Wuethrich. He died May 7, 2023.
Phyllis was a 1949 graduate of Milford High School. She had worked at REMC in Warsaw, Indiana and at Gutwein Insurance and kept books for the family farm. She was a longtime member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. She is survived by three daughters: Rebecca (Dan) Gudeman of Westfield, Indiana, Bobbi (Kent) Erb and Bonnie (Mark) Vollmer, both of Carmel, Indiana, four sons: Bruce (Kathy) Wuethrich of Francesville, Blake (Kim) Wuethrich of Noblesville, Indiana, Reggie Wuethrich of Roanoke, Illinois and Andy (Jill) Wuethrich of Peoria, Illinois, twenty two grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren, three sisters: Ann Sinn and Irma Stoller, both of Latty, Ohio and Nettie Haab of Lafayette, Indiana and three brothers: Paul Haab of Quincy, Illinois, Steven (Marcy) Haab of Vero Beach, Florida and Donald (Martha) Haab of Syracuse, Indiana. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jordan B. Wuethrich and siblings: Dorothy Steffen and Ray Haab.
Services were held Wednesday, May 28 at the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church with Ministers of the church officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Church.

ROBERT “BOB” HAMMOND
Medaryville, IN - Robert “Bob” Hammond, 65 passed away Saturday May 10th, 2025 on the Lord’s Sabbath. He was born in Chicago, IL to Catherine (Hohner) and Elmer Hammond. He lived in Valparaiso. He married Angela Lesniewski on July 26th, 1980. Bob was a loving husband, great dad, and grandfather, who loved making everyone laugh. He began working in carpentry at 8 years old, helping his father with sweeping duty, and carried a love for wood design and construction his whole life. He was a hard working man of integrity who owned his own construction business for 30+ years. He went to school in Wheeler, IN. Bob loved fishing, playing basketball with his son, and spending time with family. He was down to earth, would strike up conversations everywhere he went, and generous to a fault. He was preceded in death by his son, Rob (2005), brothers Dan and Tim (2024). He is survived by his wife Ang, daughter Wendy (Donovan) Parker, grandsons Micah and Gabriel Parker (Bloomfield, IN), Aiden Hammond (residing with Ang in Medaryville), and five brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Harris, James Hammond, Edward (Bill) Hammond, Catherine Hammond, Marian Truett, Martin Hammond, Rita Hammond, Eileen Hammond, Joseph Hammond, and Paul Hammond. We look forward to seeing him again at the return of Jesus Christ. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” I Thessalonians 4:16,17 A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
