Upcoming Highland Cemetery Developments

After working with local funeral directors and members of our Highland Cemetery Committee, the Town of North Judson is partnering with the Wayne Township Advisory Board and Trustee to redevelop the roadways within Highland Cemetery in the coming months. So that future generations may share a final resting place near to their loved ones, crews will be working to remove certain north/ south roadways and repaving the existing and remaining north/south & east/west roadways with new asphalt. This work of removal and repaving will be done with the utmost care and attention. While the space open for new grave locations will not be available for sale immediately, we will be working with engineering professionals to establish new sections allowing for both full burial and cremains plots that will be established and made ready later this year. Please contact the Town Managers Office at the North Judson Town Hall with any questions.

For Starke County Council District 4 & Republican Party State Delegate

An Indiana Republican State Convention delegate plays a critical role in shaping the party’s ticket and platform, specifically by voting to nominate candidates for state offices like Attorney General, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, and State Treasurer. The convention occurs every two years, focusing on the party’s direction and candidate slate.

Key Responsibilities of an Indiana State Convention Delegate

•Nomination of State Candidates: Delegates officially select candidates for several statewide offices that are not decided in the primary election.

•Adopting the Party Platform: They review, define, debate, and vote on the party’s official platform and policies.

•Party Business: Delegates participate in party procedural tasks, including the election of state party leadership.

•Represent Constituents: Delegates are elected at the county or district level during the May primary to serve as ambassadors and the voice of Republican voters in their specific area.
