WINAMAC, IN - Sarah Elizabeth Burns, 40, died Friday, June 19, 2026 at home following a long battle with Scleroderma. She was born March 23, 1986 in Winamac, to Steven Jordan and Patti Jo (Rife) Burns.
Sarah graduated from Winamac High School in 2005 and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac. She loved her church family and enjoyed all of God’s creation, especially bird watching. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her mother, Patti Jo of Winamac, one sister, Shannon (Ben) Wampler of Warsaw, Indiana and one brother, Jacob (Kate) Burns of Winamac. She was preceded in death by her father Steven.
Services were held Thursday, June 25 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac with Pastor Jamie Mitchell officiating. Burial was in the Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition). Memorials may be made to LifeWise Academy in Winamac or Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac.
Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
GEORGE D. TIMM
KNOX, IN - George D Timm, 80, died Thursday, June 25, 2026 in Knox, Indiana. He was born October 24, 1945 in Knox to the late Harold W and Helen (Garrison) Timm.
George was a member of the Knox Masonic Lodge #639 and the Knox United Methodist Church. He worked as a laborer.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Ray Timm of Knox, one step-son, Montey (Donna) Timm of Knox, fifteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ann Timm and son Robert Timm, granddaughter Carrissa Timm Wagner, brothers: Harold “Bill” Timm Jr, John Timm, Harley Timm and sisters Dorothy Pucket, Helen Frances, and Betty Martins.
Masonic service will be held July 11, 2026 at Knox Masonic Lodge at 11 AM CST, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
Services will be held at Knox Masonic Lodge #639, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11 AM CST with the brethren of Knox Masonic Lodge #639 officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knox Masonic Lodge #639 or to the Donor’s Choice.

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Wendell
Pugh, 76, died on Monday, June 15, 2026 at his home in North Judson IN. He attended North Judson San Pierre Schools and was a veteran of the United States Army. On December 23, 1972 he married Barbara Peters. Wendell is survived by his children, Wayne & Reya, his siblings, Eugene Pugh, Imogine Bolinski, and Aaron Pugh. He was preceded in death by his spouse Barbara, parents, John and Edna Pugh, siblings Lorretta Fulton, Darlos Pugh, Roger Pugh, & Stanley Pugh.
Graveside service will be held at a later date. Details will be shared as they become available.

A Prayer For America

Heavenly Father, We come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says “Woe to those who call evil good,” but that’s exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and inverted our values.
Search us, O God, and know our hearts today. Try us and see if there be some wicked way in us….Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent here by the people…and who have been ordained by You, to govern….. Grant them your wisdom to rule and may their decisions direct us to the center of Your will.
